Would love to hear your opinions on this compared to the last version :)
Moddb.com
Also a question for you all, would you like to see Citadel Guards with or without pauldrons?
I ask because the citadel guard upgrades from this /\ unit but that seems like a complete downgrade in armour. So basically "realism" vs aesthetics.

I think you chould go with the this one.
The newest one looks much more realistic and smooth then the old one. Not to say that the old one looks bad, i would just prefer this one because you did a better job on this.

i really love the armor, definitely better than the last one but for my opinion the shield needs a little more detail, keep up the good work man :)

Do you guys need help? I saw the Rhun armour sets and i just wanted to ask if you'd like my visions for Rhun units, i do concept art for Rise of Mordor and do detailed conceptual variants for units in game. Rhuns my favourite faction so if youd like to see any of my concepts in the hope of making them just as glorious for bannerlord just hit me up! Ive got a tonne of work stored on my harddrive, horse armour, soldier weaponry, armour, low tier units etc.

Love the current progress and this armour set here shows you have incredible talent and a good start for creating middle earth!

(Also this set of armour truly caught my eye, its very high quality compared to your beginning models)

Dude, what software do you use? And how did you learn? I'm interested in modeling myself, but Blender is confusing af.

I use Blender. It is quite confusing yes, but what you can do with it is quite amazing. It's extremely powerful and versatile. I am self taught along with some youtube tutorials. Personally it is the best choice in 3D.

Beautiful.

In regards to the citadel guard, if you are having them with the cloak, I would say WITHOUT pauldrons, especially if the cloak drapes over their shoulders. I suppose an option would be if you have Citadel guard archers as a troop, they could have the no pauldron armor, and any Citadel guard infantry, be it spearmen or swordsmen, could have the pauldrons, which would kind of makes sense, given that archers don't really need super heavy armor as their not really supposed to be getting stuck in melee.

Thanks, good point about the archers. I'll make an armour with no pauldrons for sure as it will be used either way for the archers.

Great work!! Could you show us some troll designs If you have any? And the difference between cave trolls, snow trolls, hill trolls, and Olog-Hai would be cool to see.

No troll designs at the moment. I have been dabbling in creating organic models but I would like to have some better samples to show first. All trolls will be the same shape because they will use the same skeleton. Although Olog-Hai will likely be buffer and each troll type will have different skin tones and facial features.

I remember from the hobbit movies that the dwarves rode goats and boars. It would be great if you could include that into the game but it's fine if you can't.

There will be no cavalry for the Dwarves. It doesn't work lore wise or in a balance sense. The main point of the Dwarves is to have a faction that's focused on elite heavy infantry, to have cavalry takes away their weaknesses. Having chariots like Youtube.com could be cool but I don't think it is worth it.

Awesome. This model looks alot better than the Citadel Guard & Fountain Guard model you created earlier in my opinion,
Moddb.com.

This one has alot more detail, is nice and shiny, and has a "buff" look to it.

I plan to have those two in the aame quality, hopefully maintaining the "buff" look :)

Good one, but belt area is too thin. You shoul make it bigger. Under armor there suppose to be some clothes and belly of a man cannot be so thin. Sorry if i wrote something wrong, just in case.

Some plate armours can be really thin when they are well fitted. But when I have time I'll do a one to one comparison to check if the proportions are possible.
