I decided to bring back energy cannons and they will be added to the Somtaaw and Beast teams. Dont know about adding them to Kushan and Taiidan thou however atm not every kinetic based ship for those 2 teams will have them as there are problems if i do so for instance if i do add them to say the Acolyte you will be unable to control its missiles and they will fire on their own same goes for the ACV emp.
I suppose that in order for the energy canons to track their target a litte they have to be made into missiles themselfes and I guess a ship cannot fire two kinds of missiles even if one is a special attack without loosing the guiding ability of one of them.
all missiles track just depends on their life time of the missile and the speed of it whether or not it will hunt down stuff.
