Their car bogged, no food, no shelter, all they have is what they can find in the remains of an old army van, the clothing on their back and eachother.
The story starts in a swamp and goes through a forest, an old "abandoned" town and finishes in a dark castle.

"A Grim Tale" will be capturing the essence of old-school horror and throwing a F**kload of zombies and bullets at it.

More info comming later on.

Ok, first up, let me clarify that “A Grim Tale” is NOT dead! This mod is alive and, if not kicking, then prodding things with a sharp stick.

You may have noticed a drastic change in my map, poster and general everything, I suppose I owe you all an explanation:

Due to technical difficulties, and I mean big ones (Maps not compiling, L4D crashing, zombies not spawning, etc…) I have completely redone my map. The new AGT will still be keeping with the old horror movie or “Hammer Horror” theme, it will just being doing so in L4D-esque fashion, a hybrid of themes, as it were.

The first chapter still has a swamp, and the finale will still be on castle battlements, but I’ve dropped the whole green-mist style mapping because it was causing a massive amount of issues.

!!!ATTENTION LEFT-4-DEAD MAPPERS!!!

My map needs a nav mesh and I don’t know how to make them! If you are a Left-4-Dead mapper who knows how to do nav-meshes PLEASE PM ME! I will send you the most recent compile of my map and you will be given a place on the AGT team!

Thank you for reading.

Hey, I've done some basic nav meshing before. Might be able to help you out with it, if you still need it. Shoot me a pm, if you do :)

Seems like a nice idea, good to see someone taking a simple idea and bringing it to life :]

Wish I could help with the nav mesh stuff but meh, I am only just progressing from source to using the L4D tools :P

Good luck, looks awesome.

Nice. The only reason L4D got boring for me was the lack of new content! Keep up the good work. You have gained a fan.

Looked simple but interesting. As long as you design the map full of suspense and fear, this mod gonna be great. Cuz for me, the essence of L4D is fear... New map, im ready~~

While I'm waiting for these to come out, I will make a map which will be even creepier than them: my neighborhood! After all, the scariest thing of all is to see a zombie busting through your bedroom window! It takes away that sense of "this is taking place in some imaginary, far away land."
That is to say... Please hurry with completion! I can't wait!
