we are going to have to take some liberties with some things for example there might not be a Good enough ship for Imperium to have a titan so we might have to impervis other wise i want it true the lore as possible

Do the two hulls gun crews ever get in fueds? Because I'm thinking having guns pointed at yourself would be a design flaw otherwise.

You dont have to follow the same lineup for every faction. If a faction dont have a real titan, why try to force it. Give some other benefit that matches having a titan. Also try to avoid the sterotypical roles in sins and go with the ships as they actually are, meaning a battleship has weapons to deal with both larger threats and figthers, it dont HAVE to have those small anti figther frigs. Standard sins is kinda lame and unrealistic in that department if you ask me, it feels very little like real ship combat but more like an average strat game with some stars and planets in the background.

I would change the scale.

The sins frigates would be the frigates of 40k.

The sins cruisers would be the heavy frigates and light cruisers of 40k. Aka, the Voss triplets, Dauntless, Lathe, and whatnot. You would probably need to scale up the cruisers in sins to match the light cruisers.

The sins capital ships would be the cruisers, these actually work pretty well, as cruisers are one of the most powerful ships in the game.

The sins titans would be the Battle Barges and Battleships of the 40k universe. Battleships are Massive and Venerable starships, and the ability to construct such massive vessels, according to most sources, has been lost for some time. Thats not that bad of an issue, as destroying a battleship is a ginormous task, and it is 10 times easier to cripple it and destroy the weapons and other components. Most times, a ship is merely hulked, and recovered centuries later to be fixed up and pressed into service.

Everyone has their own opinions, and thats just how I have interpreted things based on the fluff I have read.

Remember that a cruiser can take on multiple frigate squadrons and still come out on top! They can just tank damage like none other, its more likely to lose your crew or suffer enough criticals to be rendered incapable of battle that be completely destroyed. However, in Sins things I'm sure will be different.

yeah as of right now not all the ships will be ingame just too many for some races
