Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.

I like the idea of the 'Verevolve' doctrine being a usable one, They should have traps guerila tactics and many hidden units, though due to being deployed usually behind enemy lines or being rebellions inside enemy territory, or being resistance fighting after land is lost, they tend to have low amounts of external support and a lack of heavy fire power,

Just giving my two cents on the matter.

Very interesting, I wonder if you will give them Jorge's Italian weapons?

That's exactly what I did. It's noted at the end of the image description. I'm pretty sure I'll also give them the ZB26 from loran korn, and see if I can scare up some other foreign weaponry for them.

Can't say I like the Nazis, but I like this model a lot, even got the Wolfsangel on their hats right.

Are these going to come in squads or in individual "Squads". Personally I think a 3-4 man team would probably do the job.

Description

I'm having some trouble deciding on what to give to the SS and the Army of Industry, the two remaining doctrines that haven't been worked out or shown yet. So, in the meantime, here is a brief preview of some Panzer Elite stuff.

The Werwolf program is best known as a German contingency plan for after the end of the Second World War, though it was actually instituted as a way of creating an elite force to operate behind enemy lines around 1944.

This unit is mainly a sabotage and ambush unit. Since its main theater of operation is in American and British controlled sections of Italy, most of the members have grown fond of using Italian weapons. Not all of these men are German, since Werwolf recruits from the SS, and the SS has been known to recruit foreigners into its fighting forces. Some of these men bring their own weapons as well, resulting in a diversely armed unit that set traps to waylay and destroy their enemies.

Jorge 2125 has provided this unit's Italian weaponry.

The ZB26 was created by loran korn, God rest his soul.
