Imagine a world where the Allies didn't win the war, nor did the Axis. Instead, the war just continued on and on in an unsteady stalemate. Welcome, to the world of 1949. In this world Germany decided not to bomb London, but instead continued its attacks on Britain's airfields. Then, the Russians lost at Kursk. Finally, D-Day fails. With these victories, Germany has managed to halt the Allie's progress. In the Western Theatre, the Allies and the Axis each plan the invasion of the other's vital territories. In the Pacific, Japan and the United States are dueling over tiny islands with giant fleets and atomic weapons. Now, the stalemate is about to be broken. Germany is preparing an all out invasion of Britain. As tough and valiant as the Allied troops defending the Sceptered Isle are, some of their leaders are beginning to that they will be unable to hold against the Wehrmacht.

Snow Blind? is this in the American winter? or is this for Russians?
Supposed to be near Hudson Bay if I remember, which is in Canada.
Yes this is a Canadian wilderness map. It'll be a map with snow falling, if I'm not mistaken.
YAY Canada!
Ok, I'm having some trouble making it look like snow is on the ground atm though, as...there are no actual snow textures, i know that botb made some, but right now it is country road dirt and the map is a mix of colour and grey and white, i will try to find some more white textures, but for now this is it. BTW, I do not know how to make snow falling, I am sure I could mess around with the settings in WB, but I will not mess around with settings outside of WB, as i'm afraid of what I might mess up :S
Nvm i found a good snow looking texture
If you need anymore tips or anything for snow, go to the easternfront mapping forums. They have tons of good advice for that. Map looks great, by the way.
Sorry, but you need a better mapper. Everything looked really great until maps showed up...
I must agree, the site is getting crowded by map pictures, which will be stopping until big milestones are crossed. But trust me, they are great in detail, I just take side pictures like this cuz I dont want to show too much of the map, which causes the details to blur out for whatever reason. You will really enjoy the maps when the mod is released. And, don't say anything you might regret!
That snow looks like the sand
