1066 Saxon Britannia is a single player mod set before the battle of Hastings in the British Isles. The mod is solely aimed at creating a realist medieval theme with MUCH IMPROVED textures. The mod doesn't go in to much detail of changing the Warband system at this current stage but may do during development.
It is currently in early BETA and hopefully shall be ready for release soon.
Important: This mod does not strongly focus on historical aspects of when it is set but more on the combat and textures. However, creating the historical theme shall hopefully be more present in later releases.

Just a quick message...
Recently the mod has been going through many graphical changes to help create the ideal atmosphere for the era in which it is set. I have made a new map double the size of the one I posted images of and have changed many ground and scene textures. I will now be finalizing troop appearances(weapons, armour, shields, etc...) and hopefully going onto including some more 1066 history into the mod.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask as I should be working on v1.0 more often.
