How much time will take to finish the Campaign (gameplay time i mean) as much as i am exicted ...i'm afraid it will be too short ...like 8 maps doest sound long enought

i noticed that when the grenade launcher is turned to acid it becomes slightly over powered especially in the vanilla levels and in the old wads …although it can be very useful in slaughter maps (which I don’t really like), it can make the game relatively easy on the brutal difficulty ...
do you think the damage must be adjusted ?
