I think you're very confused. Since I have some experience with this I'll help you out.

Providing support for users that have pirated your own software or requisites is a complete waste of time. It's not 1:1 so if there's an issue that doesn't persist on legitimate copies there's no way to tell what's causing it. You're asking devs to blindfold themselves and shoot a basket and no one knows where the basket even is.
I'll probably get downvoted by the pirates but kids, aside from the shiny disc, this (support) is also what you're paying for when you buy software.
BS runs on UE2.5 with UE3 rendering. So for appearance sake it is UE3 but for development backend it is closer to UE2.
Emphasis on "Heavily Modified". They used UE2.5 with UE3 rendering libraries. Which is why it looks like UE3.

You don't replace anything. Put the \KillingFloor folder inside \UT2004 as it is without moving any files around (extract the archive into \UT2004\ with paths enabled).
In that case the developer rather than the game would be quite poplar in the same context as others that have gone bankrupt from making seriously poor business decisions. Infamous is the term, often used as the butt of many jokes, but I don't see TW making such a mistake here.
How about original music? I do see an exclusion "clause" but let's be honest here, that's not how it works ;) Distributing music from your own collection isn't really a great idea.
It might boggle the mind, but everything planned for 251, including the people that worked on it, are in the retail game. If the retail is such a disappointment for you then it's safe to say 251 would have been a huge let down.

KF is retail. So for obvious reasons, KFMod is no longer maintained.
No. UT2004 is not managed by Tripwire, Epic runs the master servers. If you don't have a legitimate copy of UT2004 it will not authenticate.
You haven't noticed because it wasn't removed.
Well if bots are really what you want then go right ahead, but good luck finding any populated servers, new content, or receiving support.
2.5 isn't retail.
Don't think Tripwire would be happy about porting retail content to another game (that isn't theirs). You can keep using the mod music though. Even better, use this to allow ogg support in UT Unrealsp.org

Use Wine. RO (TripWire's previous UE game) has a Gold rating from WineHQ, meaning it runs perfectly. KF will likely be just as stable.
The lack of a linux Steam client is the only thing preventing native support.

In UT2004 voice doesn't work on listen servers.
If you can play 2k4 you can play KFMod.
Let the confusion pour in. After KF, Tripwire (RO) won't just be confused w/ Treyarch (COD:WAW) but Valve (L4D) as well :p
Why. Aside from ffa spam the official kf forurms are fine.
The Megapack is fine. ECE is the one that overwrites newer files w/ older versions. If you install the Megapack you don't have to patch afterwards. If you'll never play the content exclusive to the Megapack and want to save some space you can install ECE instead but you'll have to patch again.
Alt fire. Only bullpup, xbow and rifle have ironsights available. The LAW has to be aimed to fire it.
In that case the error message is the only thing that's going to help. GPF message and critical/error entries in the log.
Patch to 3369 and install the 2k4 megapack. KF requires an up to date install of UT2k4 w/ the official bonus content installed.
