Alright im back and ive got a fix i think. Your going to need homeworld2 version 1.0 since it crashes at load for 1.1.

First install 3.1 and when you do that delete the English.big in your data folder in your homeworld2 install.

Now install 3.0 into its own folder not the homeworld 2 one.
take the GUNDAM_MOD30LANG.big out of the data folder of 3.0 and put it into your homeworld 2 data folder. Now when youve done that change its name to English.big.

Now make a shortcut to homeworld 2 onto your desktop, then go into its properties, on the shortcut tab add

-mod GUNDAM_MOD3.1.TZJ

And whatever resolutions or anything you need after that go ahead.
Should work ive got everything english and all descriptions english for now

Forget all about launching the .bat.
Not to sure if theres something messed up or not im just bored looking for something to do dont mind me.

Both of those english files are japanese or whatever to ive checked both of them. Other times i remember the descriptions was nothing but money signs.But i got it fixed.

Its crashing at loading universe for me anyway. Just did a new install of it.

Weird they had a -locale GUNDAM_MOD30LANG.big run for the language for 3.0 but its not loading at all for 3.1 ... hell i dont know im cutting my losses i dont want to look anymore dumb

Alright well my bad it seems to be in english but now its crashing at loading universe for me. But anyway theres a comma in between the files in the batch file.

Hey I figured out the english problem. Create a homeworld 2 shortcut to your desktop go into properties and paste this at the end of the target location.

-mod GUNDAM_MOD3.1.TZJ GUNDAM_MOD3.1CN_English.big

add -w 1440 -h 900
at the end of that in order to play the game at your resolution but change the ones i have to your own if need be
