I like games. Mostly, I LOVE modifications. Mods are a way to use a particular gaming engine (with/without available SDK's or tool creating) and make it "more useful". Useful in a way that it hasn't been used before. Maybe HL2 in space. Or COD4 and MW in a paradox. Or reviving GTA games' textures, models, scenes and missions into our current generation. Maybe using assets from the contents of a game and making it into something new, something better....something thrilling and inspiring! Whatever a mod is, it's no doubt a change in a game.
Fun mod, reminds me of the ole escaping through sewers and stuff like in HL2. Good luck making it the best it can be!
This looks well built and up to scale.
Looks and tastes just like the first Silent Hill.
You're going to become one of my favorite devs. :D
Ok this map is bordering 'ooo the sdk is released let me make a map' so it's nothing of an Amnesia mod quality.
Hmm I'm gonna try this.
Might as well copy the save folder on your desktop, delete the mod folder and install the Grey_Setup.exe. The save will still work.
Bless those who did -novid.
Oh, never knew about that. Thanks.
That passcode was for the other storage room, not the one in the basement. I tried the two codes I have collected in the hospital, but so far I haven't found anything in the basement.
*SPOILERS*
I can't find the passcode to the storage room in the hospital basement. Where is it?
I'm in the room where you have to 'repair' what I think is Anita? And I can't go on without any health packs nearby...my health is too low to go on. Hopefully this issue will be resolved, I hate dying repeatedly.
Tony Hawk minigame confirmed.
I can wait more, it'll be better if we all do.
I can't believable this is still the mod I played...
In the midst of my mod watch list, this had always appeared.
Though I've forgotten that this was abandoned. It also disappeared on my list.
Luckily, it seems that I'll never forget about this until someone revives it.
Can't wait.
With bars I feel like a character, taking part in a movie.
Without bars, it's another Half Life 2 mod. I think the bars make a huge difference since we're accustomed to watching movies in widescreen.
This is a really good mod, just to sit back and have a good amount of fun. I would say that 'Combine Tower 2' is my favorite game.
Perhaps make more game that include Physboxes. I would love that. :D
I liked this mod, I just wish it wasn't discontinued. :(
Nice job on the lighting.
I skimmed through this page, thinking this was a Sourcemod and only requires the Source SDK. I was wrong though...the title was a bit misleading.
Anyway, I played by myself, wondering if this was indeed worth it. After an hour, it was INDEED worth it. Elevator music, passerybyers joining in on the 'action', random floors of oddity, and the top floor was well worth the hour long wait. In fact, it seems that I've only seen 10 of the 28 random events...and now I'm waiting for more. Possibly references to other Sourcemods (Underhell, THAT, Nightmare House 2) or internet memes. But not too much memes.
With coop, there's not much of an experience, but only the 'huh?' to the 'what?' reactions on every floor. When I saw the creepy anime girl, with its disembodied ragdoll flopping in the air, I was SO glad this happened during coop. Or else, that's enough Source for today.
If expansions come by soon...I might play this again.
Set the gamemode to 'Elevator'.
I'm playing on a 16:9 resolution. No crashes.
So, what kind of basement things?
The laser tower things keep bugging out on me. I shoot them, they don't die, I reload my save, and then they die.
I don't have any problems with the fireballs. I downloaded the mod on this site, not anywhere else.
I'm shocked that development was 5 years, like how Pixel developed Cave Story in 5 years. And that was by himself, too!
Nevertheless, you delivered something simply stunning.
Also, does this mod require Half Life 2 to be installed? I'm just wondering since the Source SDK is free.
I love the mass amount of detail. Little placements of skeletons, posters, and propaganda graffiti keep me going.
