All in good time?
With all due respect we have seen time and time again as RE mods make large promises and fail to deliver.
I can understand trying to build excitement but what evidence do you have that we will not be waiting until next summer before you are the next to put *DEAD* in the mod title?
I have no problem with change if it makes things better and easier to use.
This has not. It needs to be changed back and "Changed" in a way that doesn't make things stupid.
So you posted something that wasn't news because someone else was doing so?
Please just remove the news and do some research if you truly feel you made a mistake. Otherwise you will be viewed by me (and likely others) as abusing the news system.
This new Moddb is crap! I think the poll says that alot of people agree with me.
You expect us to care how much supposed work went into it? I can spend 100 hours on a model and it can still look like crap. News Flash: Time spent on it has nothing to do with it.
I do not know what you were on when you approved such a horrific change but I hope you have the will to change it back. This horrific design cannot stay if you want the continued support you had.
Look around! You got people all over commenting how the new Moddb sucks! If you can't take a hint then why are you running a community site?
Moddb grow up and change it back.
Why is this news? New mods calling for help is not news AT ALL. That is why there is a help wanted.
Why did this get through? Are we going to start seeing new mods flood the front page with want ads for now on?
Moddb continues to fall in quality!
Frankly when I was on the team I took through 2 forums and major effort ideas, however I think the big picture caught up to us and thats what canned it.
Mistake #1 Started out as a mod to the golf course in VC ended up planning to redo the entire San Andreas city.
Mistake#2 LONG periods with little activity. Recipe for death 80 percent of the time. A real morale squasher.
Mistake#3 Hot Coffee... Thanks to the backlash from that mod, San Andreas 2.0 has no modding allowed. This means that only people with the V1 version could have used the mod. Not good in the least bit.
If you ever plan on starting a mod please insure you can keep the work flowing. Small Team in steady work steam > Big team not working and making excuses (I see this in alot of mods)
As for this mod? Well its over and im sorry about it. Perhaps a renewed effort can be made with a PC version of a future GTA game but if San An 2.0 is any indication.. It wont happen, sorry.
Team I stongly suggest a small but continuious steam of media being posted on mod DB.
Please do not add to the curse by dieing on us. I believe the idea is good and I do hope to see the effort continued.
It shows what can be done with a time hardened base such as HL1.
Ive looked over this mod and your team seems to have it very together. The fact that you are also trying many new ideas wilist keeping a good development cycle is very nice.
I need to note tho that the website and forums are very poor compared to the work done for this mod. May I suggest you go with a new layout of the site and a new forum software?
I suggest PunBB Punbb.org as it is very simple yet very effective.
For the website I suggest a look based on the current Umbrella Training Facility efforts.

Confrimed is the crowbar but others as well as a few fan made weapons may show up as well.
There will likely be a serverside option consisting of mix, Halo 1, or Halo 2 weapons only. So there will be variety and choices for most types of players.
