I try to use Recast for generating BF2 map's navmesh. I find it can work for very small map( like CQB map), see following picture:

we can see it work good with Incorrect col3 model (in fact, col2) of Warlord villa in Xpack mod.

For bigger whole map( i test Wake_2007), and i found it cannot work. I think maybe the whole map is too big for Recast as a solomesh to generate.

So I try to generate tile by tile, it work but between tile and other tile, the number and position of vertices on the edge often do not match. see following picture:

At the intersection edge of these two tiles, we can clearly see that the number and position of vertices on both sides do not match. That's the trouble. It's probably more annoying to repair than to over-simplify of terrain.

Hello dear map developer. Your maps are amazing! Unfortunately, several maps are not stable and either do not load at all (Basrah_Bushwhack), or crash during the game (Alcazar). You advised to delete
aiPathfinding.map.headClearance 2.5
aiPathfinding.map.radius 2.0
but it did not help. What else could be the reason?

Emm...About Basrah Bushwhack, does it have error reporting in Window mode?
Alcazar has AF's Vehicles and their doesn't have copilot's ai, so it is maybe question.

Basrah Bushwhack - crashes during loading without error data in windowed mode. Alcazar - crashes towards the end of the game, also without an error (tried to play 3 times and crashed 2 times and played it to the end once without errors). About 200 battlefield 2 cards are working for me stably. Therefore, I think that it's not in the game and not in the characteristics of the computer !!!

when 95%, it should be checking out the user's information. And the problem is also maybe Ai.ai. So, i advise you to use other singleplayer map's Ai.ai to replace "Basrah Bushwhack"s Ai.ai.
If it doesn't work, i just can say sorry and i have no idea to solve it.
