Its really rough around the edges but whats there is really promising.

my biggest complaint is the enemies, its pretty ovbious that they're just the metrocops but reskinned, im not a source modder so I dont know how possible or easy it would be to change the ai.
If not some new voicework for them could go a long way, also something that could prevent them from walking into ongoing traffic (as funny as it is) would help a lot.

This mod seems really cool but unfortunately seems to be plagued with crashes and bugs. Im running on an rtx 3070 ti with 16 gigs of ram and it crashes frequently. also on the cutscene with the orb it will get stuck in that cutscene and not progress

I played this last night and I must say the experience was incredible.
The atmosphere was outstanding and wonderfully grim.
I know im somewhat late to the party since 1.2 came out around august of last year and I haven't been keeping up with this mod but I'd like to add a few criticisms.

There's a lot of down time in the mod, that's not necessarily a bad thing but sometimes there's just an overbearing feeling of awkward silence between NPC conversation, the walk with barney from the checkpoint felt off as I feel like he should have had more to say, It makes sense logically in universe they would be more silent to avoid arousing suspicion but having to match barneys walking speed while he slowly makes his way to the next door to open was somewhat jarring. Same thing happened after freeing the vortigaunt, after his attempt to open the gate there's this unnecessary silence before he moves on to the door to the canals, I'm not sure if this was a bug or intentional but it would be nice to see that issue resolved.

The voice acting was really good, though there were times where civillians with unique voices would have default civ voices after interacting with them, this happened with the guy you save from the zombies and it was especially jarring; especially since his voice actor did a really good job. Barney and Kleiners voices were nearly spot on, the actors did an excellent job and my only complaint is that Barney sounds a little too high pitched and friendly.

There were also a lot of props that were unnecessarily nailed to the ground in city 17, this is problematic for such a physics heavy game especially with the added mechanic of being able to damage enemies with physics items. There were many times id go for an item to kill a headcrab with but was unable to pick it up due to being part of the environment.

lastly I think automatic ladder climbing should be re implemented or at-least made an option as there were multiple occasions where id be directly in front of the ladder and pressing the use key wouldn't work until I backed up away from it.

I don't have any more issues that haven't been addressed in earlier comments, this mod was absolutely mind blowing, I can't wait to see it get completed!
