o my god ive been watching this for so long and its coming out in june !? soulstorm will be well out by then

i've not spoken in a long time but...

has this mod gone a bit dead? its not been updated in four months please make a change or two mod team to let me know its not dead.

well i like the DC campaign sorta way you know havin to captire a planet section by section and destroying all the other races and stuff. but the thing i quite like a lot is the fact that you have to upgrade your commander to make them an amazing leader.

just what i think really

and ive got the original DOW and i hate the campaign on that.it sucks.

one thing i would like to ask would be when is the next (and probably final) version comming out for the nids?

i am a tabletop guy myself i collect the nids and the necrons.

the nids came from another universe(im pretty sure)after they destroyed it and attacked a stream of planets before they were even known to the other races of 40k.

as for the necrons they do sorta teleport away when they are near deth(even on a tabletop match)so basicly they cant be killed and yes they originally worshiped the nightbringer as a god to help them win a long going war(before the necrontyr were necrons)but then he started killing the necrontyr but eventualy they managed to convince him there were other bigger races out there to be killed.anyway after they had won the war against the old ones the necrontyr had to repay the nightbringer by becoming his eternels slaves (the necrons).

well that was just some info from the codex's (and yeh i do know a lot about 40k)

i think thats enough about squad command what ever happened to talking about the mod!?
you know things the whole thing that the nids dfinetily need a good defence system like poisonus gasses that kill enemy units or something like that

that sqaud command looks good whens it coming out?

yeh i agree but still back to what i was sayin for defence apart from the synapse and miasma u could have somthing like the ork buildings you know like turrets on a few of the important buildings and maybe like a termy manning it as said tons of times now the nids need non troop defence

who here likes the tyranid builder currently?
personally i liked the ripers as builders also they can actualy fite like most other builders but the current hivemind builder is rubbish

some people i know think that a great game would be a game like runescape but warhammer personaly it sounds ok to me but im new 2 this and dont know much

thats besides the point though i think the nids need some form of a turret without 1 as sed before the nid base is destroyed fast

chickencannon you are totaly right it suks how the carnifex is better at range than close combat it really does suck and I think it should be updated so that it gets better at close combat.

also anybody have the tyranid mod workin online so i can play you not many people have it workin online so i cant play anyone so please tell me your username on it if you have it workin.

if they did make an online 40k rpg. u start as a builder or sumin do sorta jobs for the emporer or warboss etc(dependin on wat race u were) and when u got enough money u could like be upgraded to a normal or rubish troop. example say u wer a tau earth caste builder u could pay to be striped apart and madi into armor for a troop(which u would then become) or summin like that im just sayin random ideas from my head here.:nervous:

fex man is right the necrons(apart from the lord)are almost mindliss they can think for themselves they need to be told wat to do like a robot of some kind.

heer is somun for anyone who collects tabbletop necrons,if u do collect the necrons youl know what im talking about,you know the necron tomb spider?i think it should have vehicle stats due to it being completely different from all other necron models i also think the necron stats need to be updated as well all tsats for the necrons are practicly the same also i think that flayed ones should be a troop choice because theyre stats are the same as a necron warrior.1 last thing a minimum squad of necron warriors shoul be less than 10.
