Vosla does some arts (comic) and voice acting (german & english). Otherwise he is quite unremarkable except for the amounts of Cola and pizza he consumes.

Stating the obvious: yes, there are models in this screenshot that were not created by myself. I'm working on modelling my own stuff but I have little time to spare - this room was a quick hack and just a concept. The map does only consist of this room. Don't expect to see a detailed map for some deathmatch in my future kitchen or bathroom.

This is just a sample that you could use Hammer & Half-Life for other purposes like (rough) homeplanning.

As far as the planning goes. Just calculated the weight of that CD racks through and they would rip the walls off as the support beams are not backing up the whole weight. I could create a combination of the racks stacked upon top of a custom desktop but... hell... why not build a new house then... X-D

Wow, I'm impressed!

I've always wanted to map out my dream room, but never got around to it.

Thanks! Reality is a lot lamer than this. I just slapped enough wooden planks on the walls to hold my stuff. Looks more like somebody crapped on the floor and then tilted the room to one side so the whole pile sits on the walls now. ;-)

Description

Being bored, I just fired up Hammer and did a rediculous concept. We are still deep in decicion making regarding our new home and this room will be my lair. I have to solve the problem of stuffing all my belongings into this.

View shows the presumed working area with CD-Racks on the walls and the dominant construction of the support/lightstrips.
