I would love to map but I've never took the time to learn World Builder. Final Alert 2 now that was easy.

Why do the cruisers have such a enormous explosions? I can't even see the ground when they go off, if you have more then one it slows down your FPS for sure!

ModDB always screws up my typing. Don't worry about it I'm making a patch. It has to work now. Just make sure that you only start the installer that corresponds to which bit you have. This is why you read the readme.txt!

The skudef/big files don't disappear either? Run it again with the skudef/big files in there and do everything and after it's done click Start > Run > type in &#xte;mp% and click OK and tell me if theres ra3reg.txt, modfiles.txt, and installdir.txt.

Perhaps if people stated what exactly was the problem with the installers I could fix that but stating "it doesn't work" is not helping me.

Did you start a new profile?

You click the 32 bit or 64 bit it's not hard to know what you have. It will work fine as long as the extract files, the big and skudef files are all in the same directory. I have not tested my installer on XP but it I'm 99 percent sure it works. I hope you used the installers included with the mod and not on this Moddb page.

But it's so much easier then going to Game Browser then clicking on Mods then selecting the mod. I made a custom icon with P for Paradox :D.

Only way the shortcut wouldn't work is if the Paradox mod files weren't in the same directory or my code for the shortcut is broken.

I'm really sorry that many users are having problems with my installer. It works on 2 PC's I've tested. If any of the Paradox team has Windows XP please contact me. Take down my installer please. I'm making a new one with VB.

You patched to 1.12?

I may look into that. It should only say that if you don't have systeminfo.exe in your system32 folder. I have an idea that will make it much better.

I will be able to make an Installer for you that can create a shortcut to launch your mod with the game. It would be great if you would make a new HQ shortcut I can use. Your mod will take a while but when you want some sort of Installer just contact me.

None of my Confederate tanks could attack a Soviet Sickle. My installers should work for any Paradox release, Ferriswheel should be looking at them soon. I only spent 4 days making them. Detects if the game is 1.12, then detects the OS because file paths are different for XP and Vista/7, checks if theres a folder called "Paradox" in the Mods directory, then you can create a shortcut to launch the mod with the game with a custom icon (I removed the 3 and replaced it with a P for Paradox), then deletes all left over files. It took so long because I wanted it to detect where RA3 was installed based on the RA3 registry entry and to create a shortcut to work for any computer and any Paradox mod version. All this done with Command Prompt commands.

Tell ferriswheel to look at his PM's please. Due to computer issues my installers tool longer then I thought.

They used a better compression method this time. The Minimod 3.0 was compressed from around 70 mb to around 28 mb. This new mod is 98 mb compressed to around 25.

64 bit version is done. Just a few modifications and it will be ready for the first release.

Rename the .big file to ParadoxAchillesTEST_1.0.big

Sweet I'm making installers for Paradox :P.

How I did that is a bit complicated sure I can make it work for one computer but for any computer with RA3 installed that's hard.
