Are Eggheads supposed to be occupying smarts all over the map with this add on? I thought they were just supposed to be roaming to anomalies and then going back to base. As Duty, I am seeing them mixed in with Freedom and Mercs at smarts in Army Warehouse, even controlling smarts, and it's impossible to engage without hitting them. They loot everything before you can finish an engagement, it ****** me off. I have applied overhaul 2x preset, and they are set to participate, with 0 expansion aggro. I am thinking about nerfing them completely as I have in the past.
I dislike CoP, it's nowhere near as detailed and well crafted as the SoC environment. Plus Misery also makes the game too unrealistic in combat and the Alife spawning is rediculous. Still no magazines either.
I have always though there should be fewer weapons overall, maybe not less variety, but more rare all together. Reduce the wear and tear on them as well, to more realistic levels. Russian built AKs can run 10K+ rounds through them with little or no upkeep, just a good cleaning after using corrosive ammo.
Adding in more extensive weapon mods and gunsmithing would be ideal, to replace frequency of weapon drops. OK, I get it, the guy is shooting at you with an AK, he should drop an AK. Just make it a basic unit that can be salvaged for parts instead of a quality weapon.
Plus I have always though there needs to be a magazine system implemented to reduce the all the weapon swapping and ammo hording. Without having quality operable mags for a weapon, you won't be swapping that AK74 for a AK47 or MP5, just because you found an ammo cache.
I love the variety of wepaons myself as well. I have always wanted a FAL in 7.62, or an M14/M1A in the game, just because that's my personal favorite rifles of all time. But to enhance the survival aspect of the game, the weapons/ammo need to be rare and valuable and essential, not disposable items.
Awesome, now i can change key bindings and load a gaome without CTD. Keep 'em coming, I am loving the atmosphere, far more realistic than standard SoC.
The shadow blur has always been something I hated about SoC, specifically how there is more blurry shadows in the distance, and you get that "pop" in of the good shadows. I hope this higher smap feature will address that issue.

Nice to see some progress on the best mod for SoC ever created. Only thing I would like more, is an M4 varient with an EoTech, so I can see and use my personal weapon in the game. M16 is just so....1960s.
