Wow this looks pretty impressive...I might look into this.

Awesome interview...it is great to see things from a dev's point of view first hand. And not someone way up there in the ranks such as the lead producer or whatever.
Kudos to stenchy and diego.
It is essentially an FPS but are including many RPG elements to appeal to those gamers as well.
@ Kinesis, there will be plenty more locations such as this waterfall, I can promise you that :) Thanks for all the comments!
We can't guarantee anything but there are hopes that we may have the prologue released before the end of 2008. But like I said, no guarantees. Make sure you stop by our forums, if we ever do give a release date, you'll see it there first.
Apologies everyone for the music links being down...moddb likes to take my copy and paste methods and totally mess it up. But the links are working now, sorry!
We're going full blown old school, you get the most primitive of weapons :)
Wow, that doesn't even look like Far Cry...very impressive.
Ya harimau you gotta try it out...it's unfortunate because this mod is so great, kinda revolutionary for a source game with the space battles and everything but it's very much underplayed for the quality it brings to the table.
Hopefully with this next release more people will download it and play it so servers will be more common.
Kudos to the composer, I really like that theme song :)
I like literally just finished reading this article about 10 minutes ago...I was excited to see some fellow Crysis mods in the news, good job guys :)
Everything is still considered a work in progress and Otreum, that is funny you mentioned that because a lot of our team used to play and mod for Mount and Blade quite a bit and they are still active with the M&B community.
Thanks for the comments everyone. We'll definitely be keeping up the developer journal because if there is one thing I had personally learned from following mods over the years before I joined Exodus, I always wished I knew more about the progress of the mod and how things worked "behind the scenes."
I think they were joking...as in an april fools joke, and then tommorow they'll put up their real site design.
*Correction* We will most likely NOT be releasing a snow version...my previous post to whizzard I accidentally posted.
So the pine tree pack will only include what is seen in the screenshot. Sorry for the confusion :)
@ Whizzard: We're only showing the non-snow version of the trees but the pack will also include a snow version for winter scenes.
Our main focus is on singleplayer but multiplayer isn't completely out of the question...we'll see what happens!
I'm going to say one thing...Sweeney is an idiot, I like how he started Epic Games based on the PC platform and then when he finds he can make more money on the console he's like "Oh, I don't care about PC's, they aren't made for games, let me get a more expensive car and start catering to the consoles" (in case you didn't know he owns a Ferrari F430 and a Lamborghini Diablo...those cars are most likely funded by PC Game sales since they didn't start delivering games for consoles until recently.
So I think he should rethink his priorities because he really has them messed up.
i agree, i especially like that first shot...looks nice
Excellent! It looks great guys, can't wait to try it.
Thanks for the comment! And we're using Max for modeling since it is much more standard on our team.
Thanks for your comment! We appreciate your positive feedback.
Looks good, I like the texture.
now if we could just get the crysis SDK we'd all be set
Looks good guys, consider this mod watched :)
We have spent a lot of time discussing how we'll go about doing combat. I can tell you this much...it will be easy to learn but will still allow room for increasing your skills.
amazing, definitely gonna watch this mod..keep up the fantastic work guys, really looking good

I love to design. I'm really into web design and I also love doing graphic design. My other hobbies include making films which I have made about 3-4 in the past 3 years with friends, one we had at the local theater. I also love video games which is why I'm here. I want to help create something new and exciting in the gaming world. I've been playing video games since 1999 and since then i've grown to love video games and love to work on computers. I've been through a lot of games from playing the old Delta Force Land Warrior to the most recent Call of Duty 4 and Crysis. I love it all and hope to one day combine gaming, filming and web design all into one career.
