Really cool to see that people are still interested in this mission. It's been quite some time since I've done any development for this game, but it's still one of my favs! Thanks for keeping this 7 year old game alive!!
I know all about the ups and downs of working a project like this and IMHO, you guys have knocked it out of the park. When you're pushing a game's engine to the limits, it becomes a bit insane trying to walk that fine line between what can be done and what you envision.
My hats off to you JONES, and all of the people that put time in on AP. It's one of the best game mods around and the only one I can think of outside of PR that squeezes as much nectar out of this old engine. Great work and best of luck with your future endeavors.
It's still active, albeit slow these days. The admin said he did not have any outstanding account activations. You should be able to log in. If not I'd try to set up the account again.
I'll pm the admin and see what's taking so long. I know he checks on it fairly consistently, so I'd check back to see if it's activated.

In a word, no.
It works. You have to use a mission that contains code to read the hey file and you have to run as administrator.
The plan is to continue working on this, but incorporate a bigger and better this is war style mission into this with a story line to go along with the bigger war. Development has already been started on the bigger mission and there will also be a smaller one in between to establish a foothold on the island, but right now the scripting aspects of the mission and getting the logistics all worked out is top priority. As it stands there's a long way to go, but I think it will be worth the wait.
Read the story and all of the directions in the download.. this is explained in both places.
Try running the game and hotkey app as administrator. Let me know if the problem persists.

Happy to hear you've been able to enjoy TIW. I know the game isn't perfect, but it's still an awesome game with a good community lurking in the shadows.
If you have save corruptions, just restart and the island state should be saved in the campaigndata file. I had to do this because of the game's shortcomings, but it keeps the mission alive for you. Then you just find a ride and head back to the front you were assaulting.

Use the hotkeys. There are instructions above on this page explaining what key does what.
R8 is/was supposed to be incorporated into the SAR installer for OFDR, but due to differences in opinion, was never used in that capacity. You can extract the file SLTEndgame file into your "OFDR Game Directory> data_win> missions folder. The hotkey executable goes into the main game directory and the modded ai files go into the data_win directory if you wish to use them. I intend to post an update at some point since I've been making small changes here and there for quite some time and I'll make it a simple drag and drop one file to install the whole thing. If you have any propblems let me know and I'll do my best to assist you.
Extract the hotkey file into the main game directory (the one with ofdr.exe). Make sure you run both the game and the hotkey executable as administrator as they both need read/write permissions to the game directory.

What kind of a dumb **** says something like this?? You do realize when it's done it's going to be the bomb and you won't have shed a drop of sweat to obtain it... or maybe you don't. Do us all a favor and cut your fingers off so you're not tempted to type some dumb *** **** like this again.
This will happen if there are pla air defense assets in the area. If you look at you mission objectives they will change to completed or incomplete depending on your proximity to certain things in the game. When an ecelon mounts a vehicle a chech of the air defense status is performed and they bail out if the area is hot.
