If 100 pages are not enough, there are additional 100 pages for shared stash. I think all these would suffice.

Thanks for your feedback which points out what's lost in D2 as a sequel to classic D1. This is exactly how I feel about vanilla D2, including recent D2R. D2 is good indeed, but regretfully it should have been much better than the current state. And yes, you are very right about this mod: it is a total fusion of D2 body and D1 soul.

What's your game mode? If the error message is "c0000005" access violation, it's an old issue that tortured many players since Diablo 2 was released 20 years ago. Consult solution guide in official forum: Us.forums.blizzard.com.

A question about loaders. Is modified D2Win.dll necessary for complete installation? I found many BaseMod features (including PlugY) for D2 1.13c seem to work quite well even without modified D2Win.dll, but I'm not very sure about that.

1. More monsters to kill means more experience to gain, and characters will level up faster than in vanilla. You can reach at least level 40 and 70 when finishing normal and nightmare difficulty. Beware, however, Prime Evils in nightmare difficulty are very dangerous, especially Baal whose missile attacks deal magic damage (sorry I forgot to mention this in readme).
2. PlayersX command still works. But one player is the intended difficulty and quite challenging as well.
3. Many PlugY features (such as bigger stash) are compiled into mpq so you can't change them.

MF still exists and works in a better way, but it's not the only access to items because grinding for items, in my opinion, is redundant. I provide another choice and leave the decision to players. If you want to keep the joy of farming, just ignore Act 4 Jamella and cube recipes.

That's because skill-granting items are removed. Skill level bonus can't work on a skill you haven't learned yet.

Well, it's just my speculation that cursor issue is caused by glide settings. About glide settings, see Reddit.com.

Sorry about what happened to you, and I can't be sure if this is caused by updated dll files because I haven't encountered your situation in various versions. But I always play D2 with Sven's glide wrapper for best graphics and experience, so you could try it.

Keep up your great work, devurandom96. Quality takes time, and it's worth the wait. Since Blizzard has abandoned updates (i.e. patch 2.4) for D2 legacy, BaseMod becomes the only hope for D2X content enhancement.

I believe most balance changes or enhancements are soft-coded, so you can work on them easily via txt editing in D2 legacy. But, leap attack is a real problem because you have to reduce character animation length to make it truly useful in combat. I don't know if LA animation issue can be fixed in future update of BaseMod.

This modifier is still useful as a single item, when amazon wields a javelin or spear.

Well, I didn't rename BaseMod.dii or BaseMod.bin. All I did is compiling edited BaseMod.bin into BaseMod.mpq.

I am another modder who decides to keep working on D2X like devurandom96. Paying for a legal copy of D2R to test modding potential ends with deep disappointment. It's not completely about technical limits but has something else to do with the missing beauty of classic art style. I don't know if I am the only one who notices the apparent difference, but I just want to say that D2 classic modding is not dead.

Problem solved. I believe missing string issue is caused by different D2 installation path and that's why BaseMod can't read BaseMod.tbl. When I put BaseMod.ini into D2 folder, custom string works fine with -direct -txt cmdline or BaseMod.mpq. But I chanced on another issue with 1.13.8 that BaseMod.bin complied into BaseMod.mpq didn't take effect.

I tested again, with the latest 1.13.8 and -direct -txt, still had the same issue. If I packed BaseMod.bin into BaseMod.mpq, things got even worse that custom settings were gone (Game log record: MPQ loaded, no ini found...loading defaults). I really enjoy this plugin, but recent changes about the way of modding confuses me.

Hi, I enabled Vendor Refresh and put BaseMod.tbl into a directory subfolder as shown below:
data\local\lng\eng\BaseMod.tbl
But in game the refresh button showed "ITH" instead of "Refresh". It seems like a missing string and I wonder what went wrong.

Larzuk's infinite socketing is extremely helpful, but can we specify socket numbers in future update?

Is there any way to cap chance of shield blocking for each class? Global max blocking without much difficulty is just unreasonable and unbelievable.

Amazing improvement. But why are they available in Act 4 instead of regular Act 5? Any special reasons for this?

1.Mega inventory technically means compact item slots which will ruin the beauty of character inventory screen.
2.Much better drops of runes and gems.
3.Set and unique items have improved chance for gambling.
4.Except looting and gambling, you can get specific items via vendors and cube recipes. I don't want farming to be the core of Diablo.

Copy all required files into D2 directory and don't use D2SE to launch TSW mod.
(Note: please ignore this post if your mod version is 3.41 or later)
