Exactly.
There are a couple games where players statically acquire mud on themselves. Motorstorm and many of the other similar dirt racing games have it. I'd like to see it done dynamically - as in, if you go waist deep in the mud it covers to the waist, whereas all the way in will cake the whole model in mud.
It's Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell. It's in the movie Requiem for a Dream.
Thanks. I want that to be one of the selling(or downloading, rather) points.
It's more or less to mess with your mind. You at the receiving end of some weird experiment. :D
No, I meant allusions. The dreams will give hints and references to past and future events. Glad to see the interest in the project. Thanks guys!
It is just the setting. I understand what you are saying. It's merely a backdrop. The game focuses on the player character and his past and not so much on the current world situation.
BioShock got Atlas from Atlas Shrugged, a book by Ayn Rand.
Yeah, it seems that using OB code has put me at a disadvantage. I can change the color of most stuff, but the health and ammo readouts are still yellow.
Yeah. I've been trying to find a good game to start and make content for like Oblivion and Fallout 3. Both the editors for those games **** me off, and I'm having a hard time finding another game that I can both enjoy and be able to create custom content for.
I've noticed the size of maps while playing HL2 and they should suit just fine. The design doesn't call for the game to be an open ended world.
This is why it is called a concept. I understand what you are saying. This is my first venture into video game modding and probably my last. I'm not sure if it will make it either. I figured, however, that it was a good idea and I thought I might be able to get it going.
Hah, I forgot to remove it since it switched from UT3. My bad. No longer on PS3.
Four years of RPG Maker experience, and four years of seeing the same crap come out from people who don't try hard enough. RPG Maker is the easiest game creation software on the market. It has several massive communities that offer support for the many facets of RPG creation. There is no excuse, in my eyes, for anyone to release a game like this. It's an insult to the engine. Stop being so confrontational and go join a RM community. They'll tell you the same thing. In fact, I dare you to go to RMXP.org, post this up, and see what kind of comments you get.
What makes you think you're going to want to spend time on another project?
I understand it's your first game. That isn't an excuse. Take a look at some of the few good projects out there, get some examples. Just because it's your first doesn't give it an excuse to be under developed.
Nice to see you on here. Seen it over at RMXP.org. It's lookin' great man. Keep up the good work.
Your mapping skills are very...well, there bad. You should check out RMXP.org. You can't release a game that looks like this. Your gameplay uses all the default scripts that come with the engine. This is the reason I left RPG Maker for modding. People just can't make good games. They don't get it.
