So I've noticed that if I play Episode 2 Sterilized with Ashes Monsters and any other weapons mod, it crashes partway through the first or second level without fail. Sterilized with just weapon mods runs perfectly fine.

Is there a sterile version of Episode 1? Was fun to play through properly the first time, but now I kinda want to tear it up with something a bit stronger.

Didn't notice a higher chance of going rogue on them, but that's probably cause the first time I started regularly trying to summon I was around level 35ish. Also, just noticed that Firebrand and Burning Skull summons don't consume blood when nothing happens, but Devil summon does. And Firebrand doesn't have time pass on success, but the other summons do. Though I don't use WSE2, just running standard Warband exe, so that might be what's causing that. Also thanks for saying something, you seem to engage a lot more than a lot of other modders I've encountered.

Given how strong the leveled up units are, I understand why Demon summoning is less reliable than necromancy, but is there anyway in game to make it more reliable, or any plans to make a quest or dungeon reward that improves demon summoning?

My guess would be map reveal and/or support power airstrike. Maybe production spy or intermittent sighting of aircraft. Least likely while most fun, here's the Ion Cannon.

From description it sounds like its going to where you can build normally around where you have your building already, and use nanocores once you're higher up tech tree to expand wherever. This right, or am I reading wrong.

Conyard looks a little small compared to war factory, if I remember right they were both 3x3 structures in RA so should be comparable size, put otherwise this is awesome. Really looking forward to the first release build.

What's the arty looking structure left of the pillbox? First of the new buildable goodies or just a tech structure put in cause its a defense building?

Any plans to have different nations within Allies/Soviets with different abilities/stats/units, or maybe making "advanced" factions like you did in TD Redux?

theduke9924 - - 74 comments @ Tanya & Unnamed Soviet Commando

If Soviet Commando winds up being Volkov, maybe do something similar to Rise of the Reds where you can pick a loadout before training him. Standard Anti-Infantry with Demo Charges, Anti-Tank/Anti-Infantry Gun loadout, more expensive Cyborg with self heal, basically make the different iterations of Volkov from the different Campaign, Aftermath, and Counterstrike missions buildable.

Or maybe save fancy stuff for if you wind up making "Advanced" sub-factions like you did for Tib Dawn Redux, and just have base Soviet Commando be anti-infantry gun and C4. Could still be Volkov easy, since Volkov wasn't Super-Cyborg Death Machine in the first mission you got him.

Thanks for answering. Sounds like this will be a more enjoyable campaign to play through then, since CD was a pain to play through at times(super fun though), and greater mission diversity, even if it throws some different kinds of difficulty, is always a good thing. And I can understand not wanting to spoil how the tech changes will work, but I'm just glad that you said multi-faction tech. Always enjoy when I can play around with stuff that isn't normally available. I hope this campaign is well received and inspires others to do more cross-era campaigns in the future.

So with more variable difficulty, I gotta ask, how is difficult is hard going to be in comparison with the Creeping Destruction campaign? And since you mentioned how the campaign will go from RA to TD tech, is it decided yet if you'll play one faction that just switches, for example you are Allies one Mission and then full on GDI the next without any tech-tree crossover, or will you progress, for example Soviet changing into Nod over the course of several missions but retaining some Soviet tech that doesn't have a direct equivalent?

If someone base pushes, can these zap structures out of existence too, or will they only be able to effect units?

The Gongchen is deployed in limited numbers due to its large upfront cost and technology requirements.

Does that mean hard capped unit limit, or just flavor text because its gonna be a pricey unit towards the top of the tech tree?

Yeah that has the same problem, don't see it on any other maps just going through all of them in the map list. Other than that though, haven't run into any issue with any of the maps.

Does "To Chain the Beast" Zerg version require Remaster? Cause I'm playing with Brood War 1.16.1 and it's description when I click it in the map list says I need an expansion.

Starcraft Alternate also doesn't work without the remaster, at least for most of the Brood War missions, so that's something this one has going for it. Also, sometimes it's just fun to do things the wrong way, which this really feels like most of the time, wrong but in a good way.

On the one hand, yay new release when I got some time off.
On the other hand, **** a release when my computer suddenly decided it won't work with net framework past 4.0 so the launcher doesn't work anymore.

I both like and dislike the new transports. I like that they look really good and are distinct from each other, but I really don't like how they look like assets for a different game to any of the RA/TD ground units. I think they have too much detail comparatively, even if that same level of detail would otherwise make me love them.

Still, great job on the actual graphics, they do look awesome.

I haven't played since .77, when did the elves get changed to not be elves anymore and why? Haven't paid the most attention obviously, but am curious now that I've picked it up again.
