Blender is not better but it can do all that XSI can and possibly more. It's free so you can always stay up to date. There are good tutorial videos for it. try blendercookie.com for starters.

Just so you know true 1st person should have the body in the view sometimes, check Mount & Blade or Crysis. It's always been a pet peeve of mine to see a floating shadow under the fps camera. But I digress, keep up the good work!

33-78 fps 1920x1200. I see you can move fast if you jump then attack.
