How are you going to do a closed beta? Its been years since I've published anything on moddb, have they made an option where downloads are only available for some people? If not how are you going to determine who will be in the beta?

Since they seem to have scout level health, a single hunter or a few cobras should be more than a match for them

Next time I have time to play I'll play as the flood and screen cap it when it happens.
Unless the AI was using flood drops and the animations weren't rendering infection forms were spawning around the pure forms
EDIT: After having 2 pure forms go toe-to-toe with a scarab I discovered what happens - upon death pure forms release a squad of infection forms. I guess when I was going up against the AI there were 2 pure forms right next to each other so when I killed one it looked like it spawned from the other
Pretty sure. Flood infection forms were randomly appearing out of them, so unless I accidentally added it while making slight modifications thats how they act
If you hit a deadend with the carrier form details, BlackandFan's FloodVsRebels mod has a pure form that occasionally releases infection forms. I'm sure you could manipulate that code and slap it on a different model for that unit

If you have trouble making flood vehicles, there was a cut pure form from halo 3 that would hijack vehicles and coat them in biomass. You could probably just copy/paste the spartan hijack ability onto a combat form.
There was also a carrier like form that could hold and release up to 6 combat forms at a time by running around the battlefield absorbing biomass from flood and human/covi units. Could be an interesting super unit for the flood, where its special ability would release these combat forms

Will there be a flood faction in this mod, and will there be any new air units? Such as a pelican armed with mounted rocket pods and a 70mm auto canon?

First off thanks for this amazing mod. There were a lot of things I wish were added to the vanilla game and this mod covers just about everything I wanted.
I like to make my life a living hell by doing 1v3 legendary AI. To make things slightly easier I found out the way to change starting supplies/tech and units, so I can fortify for when the enemy rushes. I've been using ONI, but realize that the most efficient way to take on the enemy is with scarabs. After playing a few games with the heretic I realized that I can't live without the spartan black ops teams. After a bit of tweaking I have managed to see the spartans in the rebel base, but they are greyed out. Could you tell me what file actually unlocks the units so I can change it?

Yes, this mod works with single player and LAN games. Make sure everyone who is playing has the mod installed, otherwise you will get game crashes and errors. Please make sure your using the correct version of the game (TWC/TAD/original). The most recent downloads are for TAD only!
This mod should work with the steam version of the game. See if there is a way to find the aoe3 files in steam. If you can find it, then you can install it.
I had my files for the improvement patch on my desktop. After I lost my desktop I lost the files. After that happened I upgraded my computer to w8, hopefully no more crashes.
I moved an early version of v4 to another computer on my network. With luck they will still be there

I have been very busy for the past 10 months, so I had to put all modding on the back burner. Hopefully I will have time this summer to continue with this mod and many more skin mods
Does this require Sins of a Solar Empire: rebellion" or can it be run on just the original game without the expansion?

I will probably have multiple versions of this mod, so this will be the only version with this easter egg in it

If these steps are not clear, tell me and I will record doing it.
Create a new deck in the game, named "Add to [YourDeckHere] and add the cards you want added to your original deck. (You can have up to 10 per age, so 40 cards)
After that, close the game
Go to search (ctrl + f for windows 8) and type in sp_YOURCIVNAMEHERE_homecity.xml
Open that file
Find your orignial deck (it will go
<name>40 Deck</name>
<gameid>1</gameid>
<cards>) and then it will list your cards
Then scroll down until you find the extra deck you just created
Copy all of the
<card dbid ="CARDID">CARDNAME</card> that you want to add to your original deck
Go to the bottom of your original deck and paste the cards right before the ending lines:

As of now the Informers ability is broken. I am going to look over the files to try to find out what is going wrong.
When the next update finally comes out, mills and plantations will hold 20 settlers. Shipments should be unlimited (I think only the Chinese is the only one that doesn't have unlimited shipments)
The 40 card deck does not work in TAD, however there is an easy way to hack a deck and put 40 cards in it. If you want I will tell you how
