I cant start the game at all...
I have windows 7, but i should be able to play it because i had rotr version 1.0 before, but now when i start the .bat file CMD pops up and closes right after and nothing happens..
already tried running it as admin and other stuff, does anyone know how to fix this? tnx in advance

i know, start it in window mode, it runs faster that way (works for me)
start -> programs -> rotr beta 1.5 -> rotr beta 1.5 (window)

no you dont, i also have a un original zero hour version and a no cd patch, but it still works with the other players,

no sorry, we just use hamachi, it works great, so why would we change.. we already have a group of 6 ppl, and everybody is welcome!

well i do have the 1.04 patch and ive tried every version of rotr.. it just wont work, i cant play the game like this, it takes ages to do something in game.. and also, when i just play a game 1 vs 1 it gos pretty well, not laggy at all, but 2 vs 2 is unplayable, and the more i add the more the game lags.. and with shockwave and original zero hour i can just play its normally.

I have the same problem. it begins pretty well, with a nice frame rate.. but after a while it begins to LAAGG, and im sure it isnt my hardware. it kinda sucks when youre enjoying ROTR and everything almostly stands still...

does that mean that also not all rusian generals will be able to upgrade tanks with ERA? because if not, than also every ECA general should be able to have this upgrade =/ its kinda the same dont you think

oh, and i just figured out that de air dropped russian infantry (not the regular infantry drop, but the one with bmd and stuff) cant take over buildings and oil derricks and tech buildings and stuff... why is that =/ i wanted to take over my enemies base, so i dropped some infantry there... didn't work...

oh and i agree about ECA, i think i prefer ECA above GLA. Think general Willem is the best for me, i like playing defensive, And Willem is dutch, like i am XD

yeah sure, but i still find hamachi a bit lagging and irritating, i prefer using Wippien. not much people know about Wippien, but its easier in use, and better than Hamachi, and on top of that its FREE.
