Mod has HUGE optimization issues. I turn off all side applications, game runs almost my entire physical memory, any alt+tab or switch to screensaver makes game crash. Fix this **** please. I shouldn't need a supercomputer to run a game from 2009.

I played through to a few techs into the Ancient Era and saw that I was blazing through all the other civs in research, military, culture, you name it. Throughout that playthrough, it became increasingly clear that I was the only civ to take advantage of the Tribalism tech to make more cities. Everyone else only had one city the whole time. What can I do to fix this bug?
I can barely run the mod at all. No matter what faction I play, the UI never shows up. The tech adviser is completely blank, there is no way for me to give units any orders from the nonexistent UI, I can't tell cities to do anything... it's just overall a broken game. I've been looking all over the place, but everyone just says "run as admin," which I tried already.
I get a crash to desktop every time I try to start a game. What do I do?

But in all seriousness, Timber Wolf is probably my all time favorite mech. I've been blasting through the MechWarrior games with that thing since I was a little kid. Of course, that horrible pay2win Mechwarrior Online pretty much raped my childhood, but I still get a warm feeling in my heart when I think about shooting the pixelated eyesores that made up the MechWarrior 2 mech roster.
But i digress. The prehistoric era has always been an agonizingly tedious grind for me. Has that changed recently?
