Besides material choices and stocks, are there really any differences between the AS VAL and VSS? I was thinking, what's the purpose of taking the scope off the VSS or putting a scope on the AS VAL if they basically are the same weapon? If I was the one coding LURK I would just make a cobra sight attachment for the AS VAL and keep the VSS with it's ironsights and a attachable PSO, since the game will only allow one optical attachment per weapon.

I feel like there's a few things that most of the mainstream STALKER mods lack that AMK and Oblivion Lost added. I am referring to how random and dynamic the AI were, IDK if it was an actual feature, but it seems like in both of those mods, the most interesting unscripted events would happen just by walking around the map (thats where many of the >greentext stories you see on the /vg/ threads come from, I believe). So, I was wondering if LURK 1.2 was going to work on dynamic AI spawns and such, and maybe a global PDA thing like in AMK.

Another thing I saw in AMK that really helped with the immersion was the fact that there were a lot more stories and jokes that just random stalkers would have to tell you if you just talked to them, along with the quest NPCs. Does LURK 1.2 plan to add any of these features as well?
