All right, good luck then.
All right, good luck then.
Is there somewhere else I can go to download all the new stuff being listed or has that not been released yet? All I see is the January 20th upload.
Why would you not release what you've already done?
Can the minor factions take over castles?
Will there be more major factions in the future?
When you zoom out all the way on the world map, the town names are no longer visible. I dunno if that's intentional or not.
If the faction does not have a town under their control, where would you go?
There's a model issue with the female PC. The hand and arm are separated when you use a gun. It's really jarring.
Just a suggestion, but you might want to change the name of your mod. Argonia (or Black Marsh) is the name of a province in the Elder Scrolls universe so if you're making something else with the same name people will get confused.
But what do I do if the faction does not have a town? I didn't see a town leader or its equivalent in the Gearhead's castle.
There appears to be an issue with the female models where the hand does not line up with the sleeve and helmets are placed a little bit too high up.
Also, is there a way to get soldiers of a specific faction after you've declared your vasssalage to that faction? I joined the Gearheads but I can't seem to actually be able to purchase any of those soldiers.
So like how close do you think this is to completion?
What factions will be added as the mod progresses? I'm curious.
So... what mods, if any, would work properly in this game?
This mod looks pretty good I gotta say. My only suggestion is posting updates more often to keep people hyped. So long as you're reasonably close to the release date anyway.
Will there be any new factions? Not necessarily in this update but later on?
Well what is the terrain/culture like? Is it rolling plains or mountains, desert or snow, ect. Also, what's the culture? Is it varied or based on a single region of the real world?
It needs a gloomy name, I think. I dunno the lore, but I wager that there are probably myths about this land being cursed or bad or something. So I came up with Maldictera, which is a corruption of the latin words Maledicta Terra, meaning cursed land.
What sort of fantasy elements will be present in this mod?
If you need more help later on, especially with coding, I'd recommend checking out the Taleworlds forums if you haven't already.
I don't see why y'all can't just release the non-vampy version and then release the new one later. Yeah dudes will have to delete their saves, but the only ones who do that will be the guys who knew what they were getting into. Nothing changes for people who want to wait ten extra days, and it's not like there's money involved, so unless uploading something is a hassle (in which case I retract my argument.) I don't see why we can't get the best of both worlds.
I mean like, this is a good point.
If I recall correctly, they basically have all the assets done, but just haven't plopped them in. It's the plopping in that will cause the delay.
All right cool. I was hoping they'd still do that.
I've been hearing all this stuff about factions being lumped into Order/Chaos categories and such. Does this mean we won't see things like a war between the Empire and Bretonnia and stuff like that?
I believe the issue has been fixed in this edition.
Ok that answers a lot. Of course it ain't my place to make any descisions about the mod, but what you said about Cathay, you could always use humans, but have the "mechanical" dudes be covered in full armor that looks like how they're supposed to look, and the mounts of course could be the magical creatures. As for the issue with Tilea and Estalia, I see nothing wrong with losing a little variety in the interest of adding more content to the world. After all, nothing is being subtracted as far as I know. If it's a balance issue, one could create a special mercenary troop tree with identical-looking soldiers as mercenaries, but with different stats to compensate. Like, a Tilean/Estalian Braganza's Besieger would have equipment that looked the same but was statted differently to balance it. But of course I'm just one dude, and it's your mod, so I don't mean to impose or anything, I'm just rambling.
If that's the case how come Anno Domini has 42 factions?
I dunno how they did it but I think the same techique could be applied to Warsword
