I had 3.15 but seems all the other updates are only for the Steam version and any follow on patches I tried to install broke the game in one form or another. Currently have it on Origin

For some reason this broke the mod for me. I installed as such and the mod crashes when it loads up

for those of you who have played the mod(drop the bf2assault folder into your mods folder) WHAT did you think of IWO JIMA? how can that map be made awesome?

hey guys still working on it. been isolated in the pacific for almost 2 months. when i hit back in japan il re consolidate with some of my modding peeps.

so how did you get 148 bots stable. i thought at 128 bots. some of them stop responding to squad commands because the squads are maxed out?

thats a windows 7 64 bit based system. shortcut info. should fix sp crash.

your shortcut is messed, makesure filepath in shortcut is right.

thats more of an animation thing. because where it is at is where the point of impact is.

well ive been back at it again. been quite off and on. all the issues mentioned are being addressed in the current build

yeah im still working on it. been working alot, and have had alot of military schools. and i work in japan. so the quake had a minor effect

ive always questioned about continuing the mod. I mean army life is pretty crazy some days. some days its a lazy day. some days your cleaning every m4/16/saw in the armory. but i think il really bust my *** into getting this mod back into shape. its nice to see this mod has inspired other mods. its time to return to the battlefield

i find it funny how assault mod inspired combat and then sof.

next month when i build my new pc work will resume. heavy testing to resolve the bugging of the ai will happen. possible rebuild of the mod from the ground up.

yeah pretty much. ive been checking up on 7game. hes doing really good with combat mod. so i highly suggest you guys check it out
