oh and what about using boats? will we be able to use them in the game?
hey will you have any of the official lord of the rings music?
Will you be working on stuff like prequels to the films? such as the fall of numenor (you could like do it afterwards as a form of free "DLC")? Just a curiosity...
Will we be able to go anywhere anywhere during the main campaign, or will areas be locked to us till we complete certain parts of the campaign?
Hopefully this game will either be finished/have a mod with NPCs in it by the end of the year which would be exceptionally good timing, as i'm building a PC and i'm going to make sure this runs on it =D
this mod will be so big it's probably going to end up needing more system space than oblivion and all it's extras did
There and back again
brown lands - is this also known as the morannon? or am i in the wrong area?
nah it was gandalf, he kept an argument going between the trolls till the sun came up
from the wraith like appearance and the crown, defo a nazgul in ring sight, but not the witch king, probably one of the other 8 or if im wrong one of the barrowdown ghosts
I don't think Middle Earth would be complete without the Balrog, I think if you're going to do it right, it should be like the last scene in oblivion where you are powerless, but at that point that the balrog falls of, you should be allowed to jump after them if you want, as they fall into a lake and run up a load of stairs to the top of a mountain and die and you should be allowed to follow them
so many of these places are amazing, i'm going to need anaesthetic to calm me down when this comes out
OMG is and understatement... this is just overly awesome!
hell with that, GoW didn't even pull this off... if they ever sold this as a standalone game (with Bethesdas permission) for both consoles and pc they would become millionaires
im looking forward to seeing the barrow downs =)
If only middle earth was real, i would sooo leave with my family and friends and never come back...
LOVE EM! only these spiders are related to shelob so they really should be darker and fatter, but i like the variety, i hated oblivions constant use of similar models for EVERYTHING!
*KNOCK* *KNOCK* "DID ANYONE ORDER CHINEESE?!"
YOU... ARE... THE... MOST EPIC... GAME MODDERS... EVER!
it needs constant darkness and fire (no rain) the sunset makes it too easy going to look at
Frodo: "I shall take it..."
Me: "look mate, this is my quest, so bugger off home and let me take your ring and finish the quest... oooh look an unexplored cave, sorry elrond, but this crisis has to wait"
the way you wrote viewpoint, i immediately thought of assassins creed and wondered if i would be able to eagle dive off that rock lol
Nice! I'm really impressed by this, especially with the accuracy (keeping the circle themes going :D )
i liked hobbiton in the films, thought this is a beautiful place... this image makes me wanna jump in the game and live there instead
muuuuuuuuuurdeeeeer from moooooooordoooor
nice, but what's wrong with his face? :P lol
the man actually looks like faramir, shame about his eyes (and i was curious, you see his weapon, well couldn't you change the hilt so it was more, well, realistic in the sense that you wouldn't have a silver hilt, rather it would be covered in leather with a silver pommel
what would be good, do you remember the horse from the dark brotherhood? make it like that (without saddle) just make it faster, as it is the fastest horse around
i think ladders would be brilliant, and also some rope bridges between trees to stop annoying up/down sequences... but if i see this in the final copy - :D
O.O A!MAZ!ING! just one query (sorry to bother) but most mordor troll armour had spikes on it to make them both more lethal and to stop people from simply climbing on top and cutting their heads open
