I love the screens tho.. But I kind of have to agree that the ivy inside an isolated place like this... is unrealistic. I know some of you guys is at polycount, and they would comment on that right away. However, it's no problem.. Looks great etc..

You should try to get it released as a game like Dear Esther was! It definitly look as good as DE, maybe even better. Especially now that Steam Greenlight is launching. Then again you would have to get tid of all the Valve content in the mod.

Ah! Ok, tried to make the material switch between two variations of the same texture (one with slightly different size), but it didn't work that well. I guess it will be less noticeable when I add grass and rocks. Thanks anyways ;)

I made a height map in mudbox, imported it into world machine and masked where the different ground textures shold be (like grass, sand and rock). However, the shader propably have way to many instructions at the moment.

Ony thing keeping me from donating is that it's third person... I have a deep love for unique FPS-games, as Out of Hell was. It did work very good there, so i don't see why you choose to go for third person here... But we all got different taste anyway ;)

I am having the strangest bug ever!.. Each time the game loads, the current CD in my PC runs for about 2 secs.. I currently have a music CD in it, so I hear 2 secounds with El Caco each time the game loads !! It's not annoying or anything, I just want to figure out whats causing it.

Ok, I have been following you guys since Christmas. First off, great improvement from the previous pictures. Still, there is a lot to complain about. First of, you probably should work a little more on details. The windows for example, replace those with real props. Try to rotate blocks, create arcs, add more models and add things like ropes to get away from the blocky/square feel. You can see what I mean here: Youtube.com . All your pictures are missing details. And I don't think it's an excuse to just call them WIP's and post anyway. Think about what you post; if it's a good picture it will generate expectations and additional trackers. If it's bad, people will turn away.

Another thing I noticed about these pictures is that you do not use 3d skybox. It will really help improve the look on the pictures. At least, if you are gonna create a town, I expect to see some buildings in the background and not just empty skies.

You seem to only be using the HL2 default textures, which everyone has seen 1000x times before. To get more trackers, you will have to show something unique.

Last, but not least; the whole concept seems way to ambitious for developers like yourself. To get this working you will need a coder with much experience. And they are hard to find, especially for a mod like this.

Anyways, good luck. Regardless of all the trolls in here that downvotes all positive feedback and upvotes negative, I still think it will be interesting to see how this develops over time. It's clear that you guys don't have that much experience with hammer as for example the people behind Visage or NH2 (etc.), but I really don't think many of "the trolls" could do any better ;).
