I noticed i could remove all the sound files from the folder "sound" and this had no effect on the game, where are the files located?

No matter wich version i try, the borg's weapons only sound from my left speaker. Only the weapons and ONLY with the borg. It makes no sense to me? How can i fix this?

By changing the values in the rules :)

why? do you think this took more than 2 hours? there is a speed up button in the game you know...

i have no idea, i had about 130 capitols...and prob 30 percent was galaxy and 50 percent was sovereign

@melik, you're right... it was unusually hard to beat, but its the only thing the AI borg does well, they hardly built a strong fleet...

The music is done by Misha Mansoor, also known as Bulb... he has music online on soundclick and myspace... if you google bulb you'll find them amongst your first results... he also plays the guitar in an awesome metal band named Periphery... check it out!

@melik, i see what you mean now... back then i didn't know you could also remove the hud... ah well

the whole fleet was worth about 12000 and i had more than 100 capitol ships... needless to say, taking a system with an enemy fleet and starbase in it took about a minute :)

yeah they are a lot smaller, they are in the foreground in this pic. but i agree that's hard to see

yeah i also never use the defiant. sovereign is the way to go :)

because as far as i know, they don't have in the series... they have regenerative hull

i uploaded a video, it shows multiple battles and features a soundtrack by bulb (myspace.com/bulb)

what can i say :) they were not nice to us...

plus, @ what stresspuppy said, he didn't even accomplish his goal... you can easily defeat the borg one on one. i won 1 vs 1 normal and 1 hard (1 vs 2) and they were both borg... and i'm not exceptionally good at this game or anything... it is do-able... if anything borg should be made more powerfull

he means borg will become stronger, you are not supposed to play one vs one with them but multiple vs one... i agree with that. now you can handle 1 vs 2 borg

i don't know... i think its still a work in progress... i was playing the federation in the screen above and the klingon were not cloaked at any time. i haven't played as the klingon yet so i don't know if and how the cloacking works

what version sins do you have installed?

i wasn't bragging, it came up... besides, it works. next to that borg sound effects thing i told you about wich i recon i am not the only one experiencing...

did you adjust the settings of the speeed of the game before you started, from entrenchment onwards you have that option, also... ingame you have a + and - sign in the bottom of the screen... you can use that to speed the game up to 8 times its speed for as long as you like, i use it all the time when i play a map with multiple star systems

yea ofcourse, but i was at max capacity and had a hell of a lot intrepid's wich are super against borg and i had more other ships that weren't fast enough to be in the screen yet :)

ok ill check the SoundEffects.sounddata file... i do have the latest version though (the one that also fixed the dominion starbase dumperror) so i guess it's still unfixed
