Hello, mt name is Charles you may know me from Facepunch as the guy who ports Star Wars models and Goldsource models. I'm majoring in Game Art & Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I'm learning how to model, texture, and eventually build an entire game. I'm also into voice acting, I can do a good amount of voices but most of them are just based off of TV and movie characters. I realize they can handle more, but optimization is always key. Reducing budget on background things like this leaves room for more detail on more important thing in the scene.

If you want the old weapons back, just replace them with the original content. As for models dissapearing when you get close to them, We have no idea how to fix that. I've been trying to figure it out but nothing works. Same goes for nailing things to the walls with the crossbow.

Health packs and defibs will most likely be replaced by Bacta canisters and things of that sort.

Yeah, sorry about that, that's entirely my fault. The hands thing is probably something to do with the unfinished hand mesh update. The HUD icons are probably just my sloppy reassigning.

I'm just using the animations that were provided by the original authors.

We haven't done anything to the way physics are handled in the game, we have done a few things with ragdoll's joint constraints.

Yeah, We've experimented with adding different soundtracks, similar to what FakeFactory has done. We'll see if we can get a more fitting soundtrack.

In the Variations folder you can pick and choose what content you want to use. Anything from NPC models/textures, Weapon models/textures, HUD skins, sounds, and ported mod content like "Gman Invasion" replacement pack for Source.

That is a shame, I've never used the mod yet, but it did look very promising in it's early stages. I thought it would be nice to promote his work.

You can thank "Teh Strelok" and "TrappaKeepa" for that. They've provided some great soundpacks on FPSBanana.

If you legally own Half-Life 2 and Half-Life: Source, the headcrabs should work perfectly fine. Crazychicken designed them to work that way.
