I might join in later, but I haven't been playing WT in a while.
Mostly due to my bad internet. My best ping is at 250 that isn't bad actually, but i get disconected 1/3 of the games and I tend to get laggy in planes battles.

Anyway, not playing WT gives me more time to finish my Rome 2 campaign. Or the Napoleon campaign. And I have to start the Shogun 2 Campaigns...
My first book about tanks was part of a collection made by Osprey Military, and it was dedicated to the Matilda.
Churchills and Matildas are the main reason of why I love British Tanks.

Altough I'm not a fan of WarHammer. I think a game like this would become a great base for a Lord of The Rings Mod.
Also adding flying units might be some kind of practice before trying to make a First or Second World War game.

If I remember correctly I read some time ago in a book about the Panzer III (published by Osprey Military, in case anyone is interested) that before starting the engine two men had to turn a crank conected to the engine until it reached 60 RPM. Then they could turn it on.
I like it, I've never seen a cannon configuration like that.
It needs more detail in the tracks, they look weird. Also I cant figure where would the driver be sitting. And I cant see where the radiators are.
I think that people from Chile will get really angry after watching this. hehehe

I think I'll like it. But are you fine with the idea of giving Gondor, Mordor and Isengard similar Barracks?
I was thinking that it needed a rework, but honestly I cant think on any design for it. What about making some kind of Isengard Barracks, in which uruks would come from a door, fight with other uruk, and then return inside the building. The building would look like it forms part of an encampment, with tents and log walls. At least it would look similar in style to the rest of isengard buildings (Armory, Warg Pit and Siege Workshop).
Apart from that I like the other buildings. Perhaps the Mordor Castle, I think that a tower would look much better than the banner. But I think you've already modified it.

Actually it might be useful, there are plenty books that I want to read. In fact I think I could manage to live for 6 months there with the appropriate books.

Well, it's not perfect but its still better than my attempts of drawing a tank in perspective.
Are you considering the idea of giving units the capacity of looting enemy corpses in search of weapons to equip your own units? Significantly reducing the cost of recruiting them.
Or giving the player the capacity to create custom units? And not only units, siege weapons, defensive buildings, tanks and other vehicles also. Of course you would need architects or engineers researching and designing them before you can use them, and also some factions should be better at it. In order to avoid having a celtic tribe constructing onagers before coming in contact with the romans.
I begining to think that when you work on an engine you can modify without restrictions there are no limits.
Another question, are you planning on adding ruins? I mean that when a building is destroyed it leaves ruins that can be either rebuilt, or scavenged for resources. And if they are left alone the nature will begin deteriorating them until they disapear completely.
Another thing, when you talk about supply lines, do you mean that i.e. you would have to build a factory to produce rifles, that then would have to be transported to your barracks in order to recruit Riflemen. And if they block/destroy the road/railway your unit produce queue would be stopped, until you kill the assailants or repair the road/railway?
Awesome!! That is one of the things most RTS lacks off.
One question can the bridges be destroyed? For example if your castle is about to be atacked and you want to slow down your enemy, can you delete them?
