Just some comparison thing...was bored.
wow that makes the sabre look a little small... nice work on both though :]
Sabre small? It's 3.6 Km long whereas the Lancer is 1.2 Km long so the Sabre is 3 times longer.
sorry got the names wrong... was to mind blown by them :P... would you believe that? :P
Possibly...were you drunk? :P
it's because we're used to having our 304 quite small... In my opinion the lancer is a bit oversized, it should be much smaller, about 500mts, at best...
Maybe it is too big. But it's based on my idea of scale, which was inspired by Star Wars.
The Sabre is a battlecruiser and is 3.6 Km long, the BC-304 is also a battlecruiser which is apparently 225 m long at best (seems too small). Compare that to my frigate design which is 304 m long (You'll see the Version 2 of the frigate in a month or so).
of course, it is your design and all... I'm just saying that it feels rather... wrong.
Ok, then.
ah.... now I know where the feeling came....
In my subconscious I think I related the Sabre with a Hive and the Lancer to a 304... and seeing them like that didn't add up up there... anybody else got that feelin, or I'm just too much of an stargate geek?
Haha, that would seem to explain it. BTW, do you have the official number on the length of a Hive ship?
nop, but I've heard repeatedly that it is something like 11km...
Interesting...
thats awesome
Thanks.
If anyone is interested; both ships combined have 1,936,638 edges and 706,613 faces.
