Indeed it does. I've actually tried this on Linux, but it doesn't work...might be a plain old joke or an Easter egg in older version of Linux.

Yeah, I got that on Scientific Linux and Linux Mint. Might have to look at an older version of the Linux Kernel or a specific distro.
