Brilliant!
This one really amazes me. The ego in the face of the Dragon, its plate-like scales and the strong muscles that support its large wings and the tail that is perfectly proportionate with the rest of the body.
For some negative critics, the cave is a nice touch but what is the rock around it? Also, the cliff the Dragon stands on kinda reminds me of the SS symbol for some reason lol, no offence meant.
You can probably take this further, make the Dragon seem as if the terrain is shaped by his whim. If a Dragon lands, does not the ground mold around its claws? Shake at its movement?
And maybe a few shots of a Dragon breathing fire or ice? In a storm? A Dragon versus Dragon duel? Or best of all, giant Dragon supporting his immense claw on a mountain? Drawing is where you can put on paper what you see in your mind.
Thx for all the idea's :D Will gladly draw them, but sketching has it's limits.
Most of my idea's are shelved until I get my tablet. Environments/breath/fire/smoke/clouds are hard to draw with sketching.
The rocks is actually a canyon/cliff. the ledge the dragon is on, and cave are all on the same ledge/path on the cliff which u can see lead onto the distance of the cliff in the middle.
