Lol, Atheism isn't the belief that *insert image text*

Atheism is the belief that there is no God, or Gods.

So this makes no sense. Whoever wrote this should get all his/her facts straight >.<.

Still, I find it pretty funny... Never understood what part of "nothing suddenly became everything" made sense...

Ten@ Agreed. This have nothing, or very little to do with Atheism.

But I think they are talking/dizzing the scientific theory about the expansion of the universe. Which they also got wrong. Lol

Lol, incase both of you havent noticed, all that is here is here because "atheism says there is No God" so if there isnt a god where did everything come from...? Nothing? well that is what this paragraph says :)

Where did the world come from? maybe prehistoric people had space stations and built the earth? and created mankind?
well something created it. It didnt just go kablooey and appear

Part 1:

Incorrect. It did go "kablooey" - Although I admit I am not entirely sure what that word means.. Lol

Evolution is a series of accidents stemming back to the very first life coming to be in the form of different Amino-acids coming together and forming the first cells and from there have evolved through genetic mutation into the lifeforms we both are can observe today.

"How do you know this?" you may ask. Good question! It was a few billion years ago wasn't it? ;) Well the confirmation of the theory is only quite recent. But deep in the ocean, scientist have observed this basic interaction forming in locations where there is geo-thermal activity and presence of the various elements available. So even today this basic from of life is created some places on earth. Proving, that unless "god" seeks to make a new species to replace us, evolution is accidents or pre-determined results forming when the circumstances are right.

If you take the argument that there are no such thing as "Accidents". Then I guess God is a horrible person, because he deliberately kill people at random whenever someone slips and break their neck.

If we are referring to "The Big bang" the above picture is still wrong as both Atheism and Science (Since you people think it means the same) does NOT conclude there was nothing before as the pic above seem to think, no it is the belief that there actually were something from before the Big bang. That alone that whoever made the above conclusions have no working knowledge of the current science in regard to this.

And before someone says, "but Big bang and theories of what came before is only theories and cannot be proven". I say, yes, this is correct. BUT, it doesn't disprove the theory. If you seriously believe that theories, no matter how scientifically supported, are hokum... Then I can say the exact same thing about God. Everything else are it is complete hypocrisy.

We may not have all the answers, but it doesn't mean they don't exist or that the only one who knows is a form of deity. And by your own logic, if there HAS to have been some deity to create the universe. Then I ask you.

Who created God?

I hope I answered all your questions, now jugding my former experiences I feel inclined to include this.

Not trying to disprove, attack or deny you having your own beliefs, nor is it my intention to insult. Merely defending my own beliefs against a very poor argument against Atheism and science. Have a nice day and avoid Black cats, we all know they bring bad luck! ;)

(Sorry, my Reply system is screwed, I can't seem to reply to anything... xD)

Atheism is the belief that there is no God/Gods. Full stop. Point Finale.

I don't know where any of that comes from. Thats me. I'm still an Atheist. HH, I believe, thinks there is some sort of "Greater Power", though not a God (based on what I saw in a previous debate, I may be wrong). He is still an Atheist.

Atheists agree on only one point) No God. They probably don't agree on many others. I for one don't need an immaginary guy to pray to to live my life. I am perfectly happy of living and dying. I am not arrogant in the assumption the entire Earth was created for Humans, nor am I arrogant to the point in which I think am completly unique and that I serve a higher purpose or that I will elevate myself above "non believers" and think that I'll go to heaven and them to hell.

I'm not the arrogant sort (though I do brag when I have reason to... xD), and Religion is far too arrogant for me to believe in it. It also has many unexplained things (or things not explained enough), too many to be plausible.

Yes. I believe that Aliens created mankind and since they are obviously more advanced than us. They fill my definition of an "Greater Power" ;)

I could then have leaned back and enjoyed my victory is proving that person hypocrisy!

Simple ;D

Lol, HH was seeing if any Religious person would commit the worst hypocrit act of all time. And you just did it rofl.

Who created God? Oh yeah, no one. He just is. Well, so are the Aliens. If God doesn't need creation, why do Aliens? Or the Universe, for that matter?

Lol.

Sorry, but I'm slightly conserend if you even read the entire comment, I mean I said God is a Spirit. A spirit is not Bound to the universe. Also the creator is not bound to the laws or boundaries which he/she created; just like George Lucas is not stuck in starwars. (I know starwars doesn't actually exist, so a better analogy would be a watch maker is not bound to his watch. If the watch breaks the maker doesn't die. And really do you think I would have taken the bait if I didn't have an answer? As for aliens, well I hear some people considering them as demons(fallen angles) so they were created. And the universe cannot be eternal since it is decaying, I cannot last even billions of years, let alone forever. So last point, unless you want to worship the loosing side, there's not much more I can say.

He responded to the comment...hypocritical? *cough cough* what?? lol
and God is "Almighty" if he is almighty he can do anything..including being there without a creator. and since when did "Aliens" become almighty...?
And aliens were thought up by humans lol, yet we have never seen them, thats like watching a movie and saying "Oh look theres Yoda"! he is powerful so he must have created earth... doesnt make sense..

Lol tendix i was explaining everything to you fine, i think you just ran out of defense that why you didnt answer my last PM :P
And oh my gosh, like an esay here for me to respond to, nah too busy gaming, it shows how hard it is for Christians to spread their beliefs to people, some people just dont know how to take a free gift when they see one maybe idk, but anyway i guess ill just have to say i disagree with you headhunter Haha! xD
if you really think its possible that this complex earth and everything sophisticated that lives in it was created by aliens then.. lol i cant help you.

Last PM? Forgot about it, to be honest. To be fair, I was having two debates with two christians whilst also trying to game and read a book (still haven't finished it... Grr xD). Will reply to it if you wish.

Its not a Free Gift. Lol. Lets say Adolf Hitler won WW2. Yeah? He says "Believe that what I am doing is right and you'll live. If not, you'll die.". That could be considered a free gift, right? I'd still spit in his face. Same with Religion, albeit without the spitting.

Accepting Religion because you believe it to be a free gift is to submit to it without thinking and to believe it without questionning. I am sorry, but I don't wish to live in ignorance. Ever.

I am not willingly ignorant lol. Religion is based on pretty much nothing but wishful thinking and a book written thousands of years ago. I'm not going to base all my beliefs on those facts. I like looking beyond what people tell me, you see? I like thinking outside of the box, inside of just accepting what some random guy with a prayer book tells me.

Elf: First, never said the Universe was eternal. Just said that if God didn't need creating, why does the Universe? Or anything, for that matter? I know that is very illogical, but God not needing creating is also very illogcial. Lol.

I know the creator is not bound to his creation. In fact, I use that agaisnt God in my new blog (arguement four, I believe). If God created everything, he is nothing. Thus nothing created everything. Which all religious people say is impossible. Lol.

Saber: "Nothing better to do."? Religious debates are fun lol. You like FPS gaming stuff, I like religious debates. The hyporisy and arrogance of Religion is perhaps the single most funniest and unbelievable thing that exsists xD. Well, in my opinion. It can also be frustrating, but meh.

Elf, Saber, I posted a blog recently with various arguements agaisnt God. See if you can counter them.

Soooo.... you're applying your own illogical analogy to God so that he becomes illogical? That's illogical xD

"I know the creator is not bound to his creation. In fact, I use that agaisnt God in my new blog (arguement four, I believe). If God created everything, he is nothing. Thus nothing created everything. Which all religious people say is impossible. Lol."

How did you get from a being who created everything to being nothing? How can nothing create everything? Again, you're not being logical.

Just pointing out the flaws in your points there ;D Might want to tighten those up if you want others to consider the validity of your points (I'm thinking about it from a debate perspective).

haha this is not the field for religious debates, for nothing can be settled with words when it comes to religion. so in fact, you are wasting your time, because no1 will get anywhere. ppl see "the light" because of real life events and people explaining them face to face, not a point countered on a forum.

oh and what you do for "fun" tells allot about ppl's character. I don't play fps games instead of being on moddb. games were always there, my studies took the place of moddb.

and You're gonna make you're decisions based on other people? Ha!
