Week 11, ere we go..

# Adeptus titanicus

Adeptus titanicus knights?

Similar to the idea of the psyker battle squad for 5 Ed Imperial guard.

Adeptus Titan guard?
Regular unit, just like the imperial guard.
Possibly a squad leader of an techpriest.
I believe I could do this out of the sisters servitor to give the effect similar to what has been produced in the white dwarf previously. :)
There may be some tex recolouration though so the squads stay the same colour throughout the army.... Or would that be a WTP issue?
There is a rough image of the concept. It needs some mesh tweaks. :)

Adeptus Titan Marines?
Many stories have come out over the years of marine chapter founding by the Adeptus mechanicus on mars. It could be a good way to include this story line into the game. :)
The models would be easy to do as it would just be the adeptus mechanicus shoulderpad for a chapter symbol and regular marine bodys. So squads of the Mech marines I did up would be the easiest way to do it. But maybe use the older style MK VI helmet or possibly the newer MKVIII armour variants? as the adeptus titanicus woudl have access to the adeptus mechanicus best armour variants. or if they use MKVI they would be ceremonial armour. :)
It would have a techpriest hero as the squad leader just to be sure it kept coherency with the themeing.:)
I may even robe them to give the army a consistency.

Techpriest squads of up to 10, using modified techpriest engineers.
Fire support unit.
With the possibility of have a techpriest engineer as the squad leader. :)

Servitor Squads of up to ten servitors?
melee unit.
I am going with the dressings of the sisters servitor as it looks more adeptus titanicus.
I should pull my finger out and make a combat servitor. :)
All done. :) That is the style of combat servitor I was looking at as it themes along with the rest of the adeptus titanicus units.
Yes it is a drillsword. Explanation. The plating used for the drill is linked and refined to the point that it can form any shape desired from round to square to flat to triangle. I could do you up a image of the mechanics of the drillsword. Easiest way to describe it would be to clench your fist then wrap paper around it, its roughly circular. Now wrap paper around your open fist and spin to get a similar effect on a different shape. :)

With all these nurgle units I am deliberately delaying them as I dont feel confident enough with what nurgle needs, after my abhorrent attempt at the Plague reaper.

Chaos Magus, could be made out of the evil guard psyker with obvious deformations for mutations. Might even be possible to make one for each of the chaos alignments.

Zombies? to be used as cannon fodder for the cultists/lost and the damned/traitors.

Imperial cars. As I talk more and more about multiple types of cultists. I am inclined to start creating imperial cars for each of the cults. I am going with the idea of weaponless RVs that can be used like the guard bunkers and be shot out of to give the weaker units more durability.
Humvee comes to mind and a similar style to the ones used in Battlefield 2.
I am also tempted to go with the primitive style of Jeep used in battlefield as well.
Of course there would be large amounts of deformations to make them look more futuristic style.

It would be good if the daemonette or apparition daemonette could dance up and down the pole from the noise marines shoulder pad. Also it would be good if she could attack in melee combat on his behalf, if that is even possible?

Just the tzeentch symbol on top and the ethereal banners, I couldn't do as I thought they are fx. A nice glow around the symbol of tzeentch might also make it stand out. Done. :)

I had some issues rotating to right forearm hence the reason the banner is not vertical.

Daemonettes you showed me would make good human possessed. Like possessed cultists. :) 2nd level up from cultists. :) In a traitor army, :)

Chaos androids?
-Just like the ones out of space crusade. Could be used to protect the Hellsmith. tougher and better weapons, a lascannon that has the look of a lasgun with combat attachment. I will have to see how my models are and then see what I can mesh up. :p

I tried the texture tool to automatically generate Slaneesh noise textures and I found they weren't as exciting or bright as the ones I generated. Dark and not exciting enough to be slaneeshie. :(

Automatically generated khorne textures have a good metallic trim but lack the vibrancy of the ones I generated. The ones I generated seem more powerful and ooozing energy of the warp. :p
As there is no tzeentch team colour I did not generate them.

I may use the nurgle ones when I get to the point of doing the nurgle alignment. as they are dark and brooding just like father nurgle. :p

Nurgle sorcerer? to spawn when you choose nurgle alignment? or transform your regular sorcerer into a nurgle sorcerer.

Might I suggest a sharpen on the tex of the GUO as it seems a bit blurred/bland. And that is how I am getting around any blurriness in my textures to give a sharpen more realism style. :)
If it goes well I would recommend doing it to the Plague bearer too as they seem a little bland/blurred too. :p
But I am a severely visually impaired man, so who knows. :p

I found a way to disable the team colouring in certain wtps. Like the sister curia. :p The funny part is that I cannot tell, till I can successfully get a model into army painter to check the tex over the mesh with team colour changes, :p LoL. :)
I will worry about that when I get tired of meshing, somewhere around 500 meshes I would assume, could be more. :p as I am up to 150 meshes at the end of week 11. LoL, LoL... I can mesh but not get any further yet. LoL. :p

I was just thinking that the aligned chaos lords might be able to daemonform into the daemon prince from that alignment. Giving you DP heaven. :p

Remembering that this is a shrine to the laughing god, not khala mensha khaine. :) I would be inclined to make it a super structure in the second build section. :) So harlequins are used mid to late game, after most of the research in the soul shrine is completed, leaving you plenty of space for the Harlequin research to be placed. :)

I am unsure if this should be infiltrated and able to infiltrate buildings around it but it is a thought that goes through my mind. :)

On the matter of Chorus... I believe they should be able to repair vehicles and not build structures as their main purpose would be maintaining Harlequins vehicles. :)

Given the simplicity of the necron race I felt it needed better representation of its command structure as most other armies have multiple character or command units, I felt the Necrons would benefit from that aspect as well. Hence the reason I make the following suggestion.

I feel the arvus lighter would go good for the sisters to drop in those turrets produced at the LP. Similar to how the tau does it and the witch hunters do it. :)

Cantus initiates could be lead by a Constantia, which Is the next level up of initiates and the last level of initiates.
I will have to do a better armour version for her. And I did. :) All done.
I didn't over bling her as I wanted her to look still initiate like, to give the squad some coherency. :)

I wont lie to you, I cannot get motivated to do the big things. the smaller units I will jump at.
I got all delusional after doing the bang up job on the xv-9 and thought I would be able to do it easily, lol. But then reality kicked in and I realised i needed a lot more pick of it as I hadnt seen it for real yet. and that makes a big difference when trying to model things up. By having the memory of the models shape and the angles needed. :p

Okay now would it be possible to give a similar build like walls but using gfx that looks like it is a trench?

The trench doesn't actually have to dig into the map but give a graphical effect as if it does.

the base of the trench could be a dark colour to give the effect of depth/shadows.

I am unsure if an object can change the squad formations or the z position of an object?
But if it can I would be suggesting that the squads be made half way below ground level and also lined along the trench as a formation. :)

# Models from other mods

With models from other mods, would it be possible to put the mod name in the popup to the side under the shortcut key display. That way whenever someone goes to build the model they would know where it came from. :)

With models for this mod would it be possible to put the creators nick under the shortcut key. So they model developers could be identified. It may be handy in future if models need to be altered and they correct contact person could be identified. :)

Is there a way of including this shadow mod into the mod?
It really does make the models look impressive ingame as seen in the pics. :)

# Burning back into the game.
I am assuming the no burn issue is because of my .net version. Which is not upgradable as I tried with the x86 version today. :p
