If it does suck we can only hope that with it there will be a much better engine that is comparable to that of the CryEngine or Frostbite in terms of performance and freedom.

Downloading this now and it looks great. Any chance that you'll port the game over to SDK 2013 and get a Steam release? I'm just worried about the playerbase.

I had this error, try deleting all your source SDK's in tools. If that doesn't work then delete all your steam related files.

follow the manual uninstall and then redownload the steam setup and reapir steam. Keep your SteamApps folder if you want to keep your games, however there may be something in the SteamApps that is breaking this game.

Looking forward for this game. I just hope it prospers and doesn't die off like a lot of other mods.

I had a similar issue and all I did was restart my computer and it fixed up.

It will become standalone, it has been voted into Steam Greenlight and the team is just ironing out bugs and such for the release. It will be free!

Desura is very buggy with downloading mods. I suggest you don't use it for the time being and just download off a server host like Gamefront etc.
