This should be not the problem, I think, but i can not make a Comparison between AMD/&Nvidia;, I always had AMD cards. The new iMacs come also with a Thunderbolt 3 for a external GPU but this costs lot of money ;) btw. i finished LA DC on Sierra via Crossover ;o)
