Silly viewer, they explicitly stated there would be two gamemodes: Survival inspired by Terraria and Borderlands, and Fort Wars inspired by Minecraft Halo and Warcraft 3.

I'm sure the Diplomatic Envoy is less "diplomatic" and more "Hey, we're new to the neighborhood. We're required by law to inform you that we are registered planet killers, and that your best option is to start running now. Oh hey, look! Vasari! I remember those guys and their little empire! Hey, aren't we chasing them?"

Please tell me it makes a thunderous roar of chaotic fury due to its singularity. And I mean like screaming metal-against-metal grinding, like a power tool (Circular Saw, Power Sander, etc) is just ripping at the containment field holding that one point of hyper-compressed terror.

I think this looks cool, but I also think that this deviates from the Covenant ship scheme too much. The jagged undersides are incredibly abstract compared to the established "nothing but curves" look. It almost looks like it was made by another alien species altogether.

So, Manshooter, now that they've finally begun fixing the 2GB limit problem (and more) for Sins, how many hand grenades does this throw into the vital workings of this mod? I'd hope for none, but seeing as how things can go wrong so fast, I have a feeling of impending doom.

Ease up dude. It isn't released yet. BUT! You get to wait in anxiety like the rest of us do! Doesn't that sound fun!?

When you play the BSG mod, the jumps are instant. Therefore this issue is null. :)

YAY! A new update brings joy and excitement and happiness and the disappointing realization that another one won't be out until what seems to be the end of time! But at least there's progress, unlike some OTHER mods. You know the one I'm talking about. Yeah, [insert mod name here]. How dare they make unscheduled hiatus breaks without us having at least 3 years notice!

I am having one little problem. I like this mod a lot, but I can't get the multiplayer aspect to launch. After launching the .bat file to convert it to MP, it still launches as SP. Any fix? My friends and I would like to play this very much.

Far from it. It is just updated so infrequently, many people think it's dead. Don't expect updates. Ever. Just be thoroughly excited when there are.

Download and read the Pangalactic War Timeline. I believe that your question is explained in that. It's also quite an interesting read.

Believe it or not, but I found this mod the DAY that the beta was released. I was very impressed with the concept just from watching videos and reading. I love how the playstyle is actually original, unlike virtually every other mod which mostly replaces ships with other ships. I played several games as soon as I installed it, and I must say, great job! I give it a 9/10, because it's still beta. The 10/10 is to be saved for the final.

It's a giant battle station the covenant were planning to use as a foward space-base in an assault on Earth, or at least the forward base part. It is gigantic, though probably nowhere near High Charity. Anyways, the Cheif and his buddies found it relatively on accident, and decided to throw massive Space Monkey Wrenches into it. Here, the Spartans first encountered the Brutes, but eventually defeated them. The explosion from a reactor overload destroyed well over half of a massive Covenant fleet, so SUPER WIN.

Volumetric, as far as I know, needs to be re-downloaded for new updates. I'd assume that DBS needs to be as well.

I also lawl'd at the combat trials. What a massive psychological effect, even with a 2:1 ratio of ship numbers, the TEC still got the antimatter beat out of them. And that isn't even anywhere NEAR capital ships!

I wouldn't think so. That would basically mean suicide for all your expensive ships, and I'm sure the Xin have developed countermeasures or something to prevent friendly fire. Either way, just run. As soon as you see a giant blue starfish poof into existance, you should probably forefit and hit yourself for letting them build one.

You know he IS on an extremely long vacation, right? He's been gone for about two months, and in that time I've basically gone over all teasing media he's ever made. I even read all 51 pages of his Sins Forum thread. But yeah, he's been gone for about two months, so I'd say he will be back pretty soon. The wait is nearing its end, I can feel it.

Unfortunately for you, they've already stopped producing CDs for the original Sins, so I highly doubt they'd make one for entrenchment. MAYBE once they've released all the mini-expansions will they release one super-disc that has all expansions on it. Only then will everyone be super PO'd because it will somehow nullify every mod in existance. Only then...
