Thanks, been playing sgm 2.2 on my desktop and looking for a different mod for my laptop. I was unaware that sgm 2.2 added more maps than just cordon and swamps. I think I am going to use the way to pripyat for my laptop.
Also in sgm 2.2 the alpha squads are unfucking believable. At one point I had 6 squads spawned in Zaton. 1 By the main boat, 1 by the loner boat, and 4 uptop all across from the merc base to the lumber yard. What the **** causes that? In 1.7 and 2.1 it was only 1 at a time.

Yep I am using your translation. The only thing that is still russian are the real time events that come up on the bottom left of the screen when I am playing. Is this mod worth to play? Are the new areas populated at all? I was hoping to go to new areas and have a good time exploring and shooting **** but that seems to not be the case. Are there any CoP mods that incorporate a lot of areas from CS or SHOC that are populated and have stuff to do and artifacts to find? I just wanna have a good experience on the old maps with the new engine.

Nevermind got it to work... cant use static lighting. Also, the transition points seem to be random, how do I get out of the swamps? I went to the south blue circle and it took me to the hospital, got to the end of the hospital and went to a small circle forest place that had 3 monolith with gauss rifles but didnt attack me. Then I made it to Zaton. Now the problem is that I have to go back to the cordon to talk to sidvorich right? I am lost.....

Hey David. Playing Degtarevs Story and my game crashes. I have googled the problem and deleting the user.ltx fixes it. BUT everytime I do that and exit the game and go back it crashes on start up. Deleting user.ltx works every time but reentering always crashes. Also I am using windows 8, does that have anything to do with it? I just want to play this awesome mod haha

Thanks for the info, and no I havent done everything yet. I just like new areas and was wondering if they were adding a lot more maps. My alpha squads are ridiculous in 2.2. They spawn almost every hour and are almost in every area that I just change the difficulty to Novice(because I made it my god mode) because fighting them is tedious. I turned the squads off and hopefully it will not have the problem I am currently having.

David, with a hard time even reading the translations on the sigerous website is there any new updates coming for 2.2? I am having an amazing time with 2.2 and want more to do instead of farming alpha squads :P
Is there any talk of adding more maps from SOC or CS?

Now I reinstalled everything but the crosshairs and no bloodsplatter options and it works PERFECTLY.

What do the different blood splatters mean actually? Sorry for the inconvenience of the other post. If cross hairs and the blood splatter make my game crash is there any other way to have the crosshairs on and the blood splatter off without messing my game up?

I am having a lot of trouble with the game + atmosfear 3. Sometimes saves want to work and sometimes they dont. So far I did a manual save (not a quicksave) and then I died and loaded that and it worked. I went to the monolith camp near where you start and I autosaved and manually saved and then I eventually died. The autosave does not work and CTD's when I load it same with the manual save. I have no idea what to do or if anyone else has had this problem. From testing, saves not around enemies work so far but close to them it does not. I have applied the fixes, wide screen iron sights, cross hairs enabled, and no blood-splatter without hud mask and the compatibility patch. Has anyone had these problems?

I agree S.E.V.A.. The thing that annoys me the most when I come here is that every other post is by Kazak. Its an awesome mod that I can't wait for. But you need to stop talking so much, it is really turning me off coming here. Please shut up, you have some good comments and ideas, but dear god just sit back and read without commenting. All your posts got to me that I actually had to comment, and I never comment. All your commenting has really taken away from this page for me.
