Is it possible to turn off the "wear out" effect over the artifact?

Will I be able to play my previous CoC saved games or it's mandatory start from zero again? (I'm a loner with a looooong history at this very moment. Excited to 1.4, but not too excited to begin from scratch).+

I was not in the mood to replay the entire game again (You can find the source of my disgust on the comment below), so, I spent a lot (really A LOT) of time reading comments on the Complete Mod series page, and I found people with similar problems, caused by corrupt saves.
I managed to find a not-too-old-save from where I could go to Jupiter. It crashed after the Oasis mission (Caused by teleport? Don't know...).

But this don't change my opinion. Don't use this mod if you don't want similar headaches...

Unfortunately, this mod is a HUGE waste of time and patience. After gaming with Complete Mod for Stalker SHOC for years, I had much positive expectations for this one.
Installed recently, just to discover that it REALLY IS BUGGED...
I simply cant' go back to Yanov/Jupiter and complete quests. It crashes when loading Yanov level.

I tried everything:
- Tried to use wish granter teleporter;
- Uninstall/clean up registry/ reboot/ install again
- Uninstall/clean up registry/ reboot/ install with 3 gb crash patch, and edited boot.ini.
- Tried to load previous level on jupiter. NONE previous saved games on Yanov/Jupiter worked...
- Tried to edit User.ltx and levels
- Tried to make a clean install again...
And nothing worked. Almost in the end. I Threw away hours of a perfect gameplay because a bugged mod on a more-than-enough rig didn't let me play inside ONE LEVEL...

Don't waste your time with this mod. Seriously. You have been warned. Only Complete for SHOC is worthy.

Oh, indeed!!! Thanks for make note!!!! I will surely download this mod when available!!!

Is there any chance to include Cordon? Sorry to ask, and I know modding is not an easy job, but I think Cordon (and Sidorovich plus Rookies camp) have a nostalgic feeling.
By the way, congratulations for your efforts, and I hope you succeed!
