reduced all settings and now it works
does not work. i tried lowering to 1024 then 512 and got the same results, even tried setting it to 256, but got the same results for each setting...
the problem must be my computer since it is quite old
The patch is not the problem. I reinstalled on a fresh 1.0 and had the same problem.

i am getting a "texShadowHistory buffer error" for some reason.
it would be great if someone could tell me what causes it and what the fix is, if there is one.
i am using comunity patch 1.40, if it's any use

yes,it should be slowed down a bit.
i haven't seen it walk( or heard about it before you posted about it here) but it does seem too fast
that guy in the turret is all like "look at ma' new tank"
even if i won't enjoy the new content for long, i for one will enjoy the rest of the content. at least they worked on something. unlike other mods
so new ships and systems are not new content ?
quite frankly i enjoyed the new ships in previous versions

your ideas are indeed very good and very well thought of,and i mean both of them:
firstly,i commend your idea for the research ship,mainly the part in which you need other tech and modules to build destroyers
also,the idea of a more enduring command carrier is very good from a logical point of view since,well,command carriers should be able to hold their ground until reinforcements arrive and provide additional firepower.
i also have a small suggestion:since a command carrier is not exactly a ship to be used in a fighting line,it should have long range weapons,like missles or at large siege-like guns with proximity detonation for the rounds fired(like flak guns)

these are sad tidings indeed.it is a shame,really,it was a great mod,among the best.bugs and all we,the followers,still loved this mod and i'm sure that we will like it even if it's going down.you've gave us a great deal of hours filled with excitement,fun and most of all,a chance to play our favorite characters,roam around in stargate ships and shoot weapons from the stargate series.
