Ok let's do like that. Expect having in Menu the version 1.0 displayed instead of having per ex HDE 0.5, your mod seems to be functionnal. Thanks again for the support!

Thank you for your fast reply! And huge and nice work btw. Maybe indeed the HDE is still working, as I can rise the reso until 1440p. AA and AF seems working too, graphics are more smooth than Vanilla, imho. How to share menu screen?

Edit: For test, I replaced d3d8.dll in EXE directory of FLHDE by one from C:/Windows in my pc, and then the game can launch, but in 1.0 and without improvements from Freelancer HDE. (????)
Resolution can be increased now until 2K.

Hello team,
- I installed Freelancer 1.0: fresh install with my own DVD bought new in 2003, computer restarted, game launched, working well (at least until Menu).
- I then installed in admin mode Freelancer HDE 0.5.
- All files are well installed (same main directory like Freelancer legacy in C:\Jeux, but of course main game and Freelancer HDE are in separate folders).
- I accept the license, then only Windows wheel is spinning few seconds, and nothing happens.
- Same when I click to launch the game from the icon Freelancer HDE,
No related .exe launched in Task Manager.

In Fiability monitor, it displays 3 “Functioning stopped” APPCRASH / Freelancer.exe / 1.0.1223.11 / Name of defective module: d3d8.dll + console.dll + alchemy.dll

I reinstalled, this time the icon on the desktop “Freelancer HD Edition” is blank.

I really hope you can help me!!

Hi devs!

I specially registered myself now on this site to be able to tell you lots of things.
Since the beginning I played lots of time at Stalker SOC, one again (Complete 2k9), then CS (Complete 2k10), then COP vanilla, then 1st one re-again (Oblivion Lost).
And suddenly I heard about LA!
With my poor ATI5850, fps were not tremendous. After only 10 min of gaming, I decided to buy a gtx970 to be able to play correctly. Not really interested by other games.
And I heard about LA:DC. So I stopped playing very quickly.
As many many people, I’m waiting since very long time.
I check the news desperately 1 or 2 time per days.
My wife is quite worried about this: she knows that a part of my social life will be forsaken when the game goes out.

After that, only one request: Could you really give us a chance to play your amazing project near Christmas 2016??
It would be a wonderful present for all fans we are!
If I were a dev with some competency in coding and so on, I would be very happy to help you.
You could always take your time to finish your project, but perhaps if some addons/mods (still wip) are too long to finish, remove it could be a wise decision.

Keep up the good work and pray for releasing soon!
