I am currently in the process of modding my first game, Hoi3:tfh . I am looking for a map creator. Any help is appreciated.. Willing to help with mods if I am able. I think it would be fun.

Yeah, common indeed if many others had my same issue, I would launch the "Launcher" check the mod option I want and hit go, and it would never even launch, just instantly CTD in a way, failed to load. So as I replied to DarrenMarshall above I tried to edit the .MOD file and check around the folders, I'll do this again, I'd guess it's missing a few files, or maybe the pathing is incorrect, I know its really finicky when it comes to this, I modded the game and made the 50 United States and I gave them all the state leaders and such took ages and I had the country.(something) file and I typed CAL(California) wrong on it while it was looking for CLI or something and it never launched. So I hope the DEVs can tell us what needs to be edited or maybe a new download of whats missing or the fix.

I have looked at the folders, and I have even tried to re-edit the .mod file and I have had no success so far. I am hoping a DEV can shed some light on this issue.

so I'm not bothering the devs with this but would rather ask if the community who play this mod have experienced the same issue I face.

I can select who I want to be and can click on my profile and buttons but when I go to select other provinces I cannot. I simply can't. I was unable to upgrade my demesne holdings so I thought maybe it was my game but everything else works just fine.

ALSO... the LMG/AK47 and any other machine guns do very little damages for what crap accuracy they have. The Rodoks upgrade their units to the Seargents, they lose their rifles and gain pistols and swords, so a war with them will be just as easy as the Ottoman Empire front, minus all the mountaintops.

Also maybe you could make Kaiser Wilhelm the usurper and not a companion. Makes no sense such a highborne would follow my guy.

the "Islamic Empire" has a 75% soldier rate of not firing. they just stand there and stare at my lines while I hammer them down. I killed 390 units with my 60 it was a slaughter as they came over a hill and taking a town form them even easier they all piling up a staircase and narrow pathways.

What appear to be set in stone alliance so far don't work. Your National Socialist parties war with eachother, a lot.

several factions have the same colour, including the player, that being "RED", I thought it was just one giant faction but it's three.

As I said above, I'm not a fan of it, but they are going for the "Taung" and I'll assume they are trying to make it sound like an alien but I find it sounds like a bug from WoW:MoP more than what I think a taung would sound like.

so I have to take the original tfh folder with all those sub folders excluding the mod folder? then replace the three folders you edited and I wont have to replace the entire files everytime I want to play another mod or my mod?

Sorry I was talking about the KoTOR one. with the mandalorians/republic not the "Old Republic" I think they should honestly have called it something else maybe not the modders but Lucas and EA. It upset a lot of fans.

I love RTS games, especially when I can build an empire and a space empire, hell yeah. I was just saying all the games i've helped greenlight and pre-ordered that came to steam and went early access have been at a 100% flop rate or at least a giant pivot that completely was not what I was paying for.

but with that blaster fire and the cross-hair position is the gun going to shoot like that always? It appears to be shooting at a strange angle but the laser/blast shot is going straight ahead? That .gif or that short video animations there the blaster almost appears to be aiming at the poll in-front of the man but the laser/blast is going to the right of it.

and for the HUD I like an idea where you blend those two mini-maps together to make it a little different or use a lot less blue on that one on the right, I like the gun option you have on that one on the right, makes more sense. I am however not a fan of the slant you gave them, it's awkward, I'll assume you were going for a helmet view? I'm not sure.
