I like to create GoldSRC maps, especially love the not so detailed, old-school style. I also translate STALKER mods to English in my free time. You can browse my images to see various unfinished and work-in-progress projects of mine, designed for Half-Life. If you have questions about anything, feel free to ask. Finally, if you're looking for a playtester to test your HL mod or map, let me know.

Indeed it does. Seeing how the med station is damaged how about of damaging 1 of the 2 lights up there as well. Make it flicker also with sparks.. Or add some electric current going forth and back between 1 of the lights and the medstation which also explained how and why the security guard died over there.

The soldiers shot the guard while riding the train, see the bullet holes on the walls? That's why the health charger is damaged and the barrel is leaking. I can't damage the light on the ceiling because they just sprayed a straight line, torso level in this scene.

Classic Half-Life look will never age. Solid stuff. 2 things I would've done differently are the slanted edges, which could've been steeper, it sorta looks off being pulled so much like that, and the electrical rail texture, which seems off. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of good textures to choose from by default, but we can get creative.

Thank you, classic style forever is my motto, there's a certain charm to it.

If by slanted edges you mean the ~tracklite's I agree, but it looks good while the train is passing by them and I can't really change it without repositioning everything again which is a headache. This'll have to be done on another rail section.

As for the rails, I simply threw the stripe texture there because I didn't want to spend time positioning the actual track texture. It'll be done towards the end.
