Greetings,

as I looked little for new reviews for Crossfire 2.0 and found this yours, I'd like comment it little:

- childish new character skins: you can made your own choice about main characters look during mod activation including use vanilla look
- Dogfights are too long and annoying: it is because you ignored advices how to fight better. Crossfire was meant as mod offering challenge and need to learn how to fly/fight better + search for better equipment ...it can keep play interesting, the most boring games are with easy progress)
- the most annoying part is that AI has INFINITE shield batteries and nanobots: this is false statement. NPCs use only bots/bats which available on theirs ships. Once are all used, no more repairs. Shield regeneration works the same way as for player.
- Campaign progression is VERY slow: also not much exact statement. Due new ways how to made moneys (which you mentioned) you can progress in campaign pretty fast. If you decide ignore advices how to use them, then it is your choice and progress speed fully correspond with your decision.
- You need to either complete 20 local side-missions or engage in trading: this obviously is also not correct. You even do not need to do 1 mission or trade goods. Simply killing around 20 below-average NPCs and selling theirs escape pods in prison (which is on Kyoto base 6 systems away) is more as enough. Normally you have prisons much closer, but at this campaign part is neutral only Bretonia.
- Campaign basically consists of 5% story and 95% just flying around: sorry, but you do not even passed vanilla and fully ignored all our advices.

Some old games modifications need more as only sit in chair, drink kola and look how is game played itself. If you did statement that you do not want learn new things and therefore do not like Crossfire difficulty, then all is ok. But please do not spread incorrect informations when you refused learn/understand how this mod works.

Kind Regards
Forlon
